Dudydoo
In a few days I have been set the task of installing XP Pro onto multiple computers. I am very experienced with installing XP but not in batches at ones. The machines are different in specification but are new and capable of running XP. What I want to do is install it onto all machines from scratch in the quickest time possible. All computers are connected to a LAN, and there is a Win2000 Server computer. All copies of XP have different product keys so they will have to be entered seperatly. What's the best way of doing it? I would of used norton ghost but XP doesn't like picking up different motherboard after installtion in my experience (usually get a blue screen)

Unless they are all different versions of XP, just use the same key, the license is already paid for.
Steven
Unless they are all different versions of XP, just use the same key, the license is already paid for. Then how do you activate it? you can use Setup Manager, its in the Windows XP CD ROM. look for a Cab file called "DEPLOY.CAB" extract its contents. then run the setup manager program.... You can follow this Unattended Install Guide, its brilliant IMO. http://www.hytekcomputer.com/Articles/XPIn...Install/1.shtml
