C&C Red Alert 3: Hell March Trailer

Oh my God, I think I need to change my pants.

That is fantastic.

(and this is from the biggest CNC nerd on these forums)

I may have to fight you for that title :p

ok then what is the chronosphere referencing and what's it's relation to the orb that used to appear on red alert as a result of it's use?

w00t!!!, ah that was better than porn!

Knew it would be this year, not too far away either!

Sure, some whacky looking untis in there and I wouldnt have minded seeing some more generals style/CC3 graphics but ah well, you just cant beat the gameplay and FMV style of a CNC game!

This is just of the backlogs of my memory and I could be wrong but the Chronosphere represents technology built upon something(The Orb) that Albert Einstein abandoned when he realised that it could be used for weapons purposes?

I would realy have to look up any further questions because I was only a wee youngster back then :p

I've always loved the non-sense of Red Alert. The story was just so wrong, it was funny. The whole cartoony look goes with that imo.

Although I must say I find this a bit too colourful. But I'm in love with the water stuff, that looks f'in great. Honestly can't wait for this game.

The orb that appears as a result of the Chronosphere's use was a chrono vortex.

Depends on which version you played. On the PSX, it was a sort of glowing orb thing, on the PC it was an actual vortex (ok it was a sort of black tornado thing).

The nifty thing about the trailer is that it seems to show an ACTUAL Chronol-vortex, as westwood originally intended to make it (They wanted it to suck units into it, but it wasn't possible on the engine, so instead they made it shoot tesla bolts to damage them instead).

The Chronosphere is a time travel device built by Albert Einstein. Obviously the "Chrono" part of the name comes from Chronos, the God of time.

I'm sorry, guys, but I'm the biggest C&C freak of you all =P

Fine maybe im not the biggest C&C nerd :p

Still love this series fanatically and the amount of time I invested in Red Alert 2 and Its expansion Yuris Revenge is inhumane...

By the way what did everybody think of Yuris Revenge?

Me I personally loved it and was and still is my favorite C&C...

Oh noes, Kirovs!

"I have legacy to consideerrrrr!"

haha.. "Kirov reporting" used to send fear across the battlefield as everyone rushed to build as many Anti Air units/defenses as they possibly could.

Hope they get Kari Wuhrer back for this

i lost interest in C&C ever since they made it in "3d"

I couldn't agree more. I'm sorry but this is all pure ****. What happened to Command & Conquer Gold, Red Alert, Red Alert Aftermath?

I still play these 3 todate, and I enjoy every bit of it, even though they're not "3d" or next generation or whatever.

Unfortunately the jump to 3D coincided with the handover to EALA, so go figure. Generals was appauling, C&C3 was a bit better but still pales by comparison. RA2 wasn't exactly "C&C" but at least it was bloody fun, so that's all I'm hoping for here.

It looks more like RA2, which isn't such a bad thing. We'll see how it turns out.

More of generals too but i still going get it, looks amazing! I just hope it's same format as RA2/Yuri's Revenge where you can click on 1 unit not this team unit crap, hate it.
