How can i get the favicon area really flush with the whole url bar? I can get it to move more towards the left but the top and bottom ends have gaps. Make it look like how it is on xp (not the roundedness) but how the blue/green area is really flush with all the edges compared to vista where there is some gaps.

Yes I have Vista HP x64 and Firefox 3.

Do you have any styles installed? Are you using the latest x64 glasser ext?

The theme that you are using does not look like the default Fx 3.0 theme.

What styles do you have installed. Disable the ext Stylish and see if that helps.

Looks like you have black vista or similar loaded into stylish.

I'm having the same problem with the black too...

I only have the default theme installed, and it's got the big back arrow as seen with Ants' screenshot. Disabling Stylish (it had nothing styled anyways) did nothing.

Glass is disabled when maximising the window, this is normal for all windows app.

Well I disabled Glasser and I think it did the trick but still no transparent though.

Uninstall the extension completely and restart FF. Now go to here and download it directly from their addon site (You need to register)

I'm using Personal Menu to remove the menus and add the Bookmarks, History and Menus buttons. Using Locationbar² for the IE7 effect (plus extras). Stylish for the icons and overall look. I'll attach the two Stylish scripts I'm using.

The glass effect is getting very close to being complete in the nightlies. This just landed in today's, #418454 [Core:Widget: Win32]-Add support for Aero Glass effects to Widget layer [Win]

Support for Glass has landed and is enabled in the nightlies.

But, only for pure XUL content, web content still doesn't render properly on it, so you'll still need to use this extension, even when 3.1 is finished (When Firefox 4 is released, the Compositor should fix that bug, and any theme will be able to take advantage of it).
