The trailer looks beyond lame :/

Im getting spoiled by Nolan's and Snyder's approach to comics. Everything else seems to be made for preteen.

Iron Man would like to disagree with you on that. Though not as plot complex as Nolan films, they're still pretty darn good.

Thats right, I forgot about Iron Man, I enjoyed those, but not as much as Batman, Watchmen or Sin City.

The thing with TDK, it's so mentally draining compared to IM. Some people like to be mentally challenge throughout the film, while others like to sit back and enjoy a somewhat mindless comic book movie. Watching both IM films, I didn't want it to stop. So much fun.

And this time I dont agree. Batman, yeah, its tense but I dont think it's mentally draining, its just a tense rollercoeaster. Watchmen it is mentally draining, maybe even Sin City, but Batman dont.

I like my superheroes flawed and human. Maybe that's always why I loved Batman.

Yeah I hope even if they aren't directing they get to oversee the movies leading up to justice league.

sucks

Its like this

but with some CGI. They believe that if they contract some "good" actors (note the quotes) and add some graphics, they will have a hit. Who knows, the ppl is stupid by definition.

does that include you, or you just like to state your opinion as fact? people have different tastes, deal with it.

I think it's kind of sad that these two film-makers are the pinnacle of comic book based films. I mean Nolan has some taste at least, but Snyder?

How's that Snyder has no "taste"?

How's that Snyder has no "taste"?

It's like Snyder's whole thing about making films is to make them so "badass" to the point of being ridiculously hammy and bombastic. Watchmen is a film I really want to like but there is so much done in bad taste; like he has no aesthetic principles beyond "cool" that I find it difficult to like.
