Israel 'has 150 nuclear weapons'

Seriously doubt that if Iran had nukes, they would use them. Seriously doubt it.

I don't. Hell he even claimed that the Holocaust was a lie.

The reason of a nuke in the middle east is whoever has it, pretty much secures their future. If say Lebanon got the nuke before Israel, it makes Lebanon more powerful and Israel can't do much about it. Not that it means if Israel attacks, lebanon would drop a nuke on them. It works the same way if Israel got a nuke. It's a deterant, and thats pretty much it.

Though there are some people who would use the nuke if they ever got their hands on it, and I think that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is one of them.

Here we go again with the "I'm sure Iran or extremist terrorist groups would use nukes".

These guys are nuts, but not entirely stupid.

Just imagine the chain of events that would follow the moment after the launch of a nuclear warhead aimed at a city, any city regardless if it's on Jews or Muslims or Caucasians, you name it and there will be a price to pay. It certainly won't go unnoticed and whoever fired it better be ready to get his ass kicked because I don't think the world (America) would respond very cordially, especially if Israel would get hit.

If someone does decide to launch a nuke, it still won't break into a nuclear war because we all know what that would lead, totally nothing except ****ing us over.

Well if say terrorist groups cared what the worlds thinks, they wouldn't exist now would they? If they can get on a bus/plane, into a shopping mall etc etc and kill innocent people, you think they give a crap about what the world thinks if they launch a nuke?

Also, there was a time when building a nuke required knowledge not many people possessed. Let alone the parts. Today building a nuke is like putting together your computer, the tools are commonplace, the knowledge is readily available etc. Only difficult thing it requires is to get your hands on some uranium/plutonium.

When you say that a person is a Fruitcake what does that means?

Means they're mad/insane etc though I've also seen it used to mean gay.

to those asking, all atomic bombs are nuclear bombs. But not all nuclear bombs are atomic bombs. Some nuclear bombs are hydrogen bombs.

There are two types of nukes:

The atomic bomb (A-bomb), which generates energy by nuclear fission.

The hydrogen bomb (H-bomb), which generates energy by nuclear fusion. Much more powerful than the A-bomb.

Anyway I can see the USA going to war because the weapons Israelis have can be used for mass destructions ( because the ones in the USA obviously can't  )

You on crack? :|

USA and Israel would prob never go to war with each other...

Yeah cause of the holy land and what not... Just wait till oil prices soar a bit more :p

Edit: I remember reading a book on freaky-maybe-true world domination stories, on how the "holy land" aka jerusalem, Israel, controlled all the major governments in the world... Wait I forgot my tin foil hat :p

Then I think you mean Saudi Arabia ;)

Nope, Seriously, wait till oil prices soar a bit more, the USA will start drilling down your backyard... Any way, we're drifting...

On topic: Big deal, nuke smuck, Whats the purpose of having so many nukes stored E-nuke-penis? if 20 maybe less would cause global chaos.

There are real violations going on in places in Burma. where the Military Junta prevented medical and food aid when 100,000 died from hurricane. not to mention Tibet,China... thats just in my neighborhood. Then you got Darfur, African conflicts, Zimbabwe....,, Terrorists.

anything to detract the real issue of terrorism

You people put the whole continent of Africa in it's conflict because of Africa's mineral resources. You turn their people against each other, further divide them and take what doesn't belong to you for yourselfs.

Make no mistake that any argument or comeback against this truth you will only dig yourself a bigger hole amongst the other lies you have spoken.

I wander why no one asks Israel to open up for inspections from IAEA. Anyone else find it hypocritical that they and their allies complain about Iran not being open while ignoring that Israel has never allowed inspections?

There have been documented cases where ambulances with pregnant women or ill people have been prevented to going past checkpoints and people dying as a result, but anyway, thats beyond the point.

Terrorists might do it since it would be (almost) impossible to put the blame on a country but Iran isn't stupid. They would be asking, heck begging, to be completely wiped out if they even dared to point a nuke at a western ally. The US was ready to nuke the Soviets when they wanted to put nukes in Cuba, Iran knows what the consequences would be, especially considering they are much less powerful then what the Soviets were.

What else would you expect from a peanut farmer?

 Can't respond to what he says, so attack him personally.

So what if he was a peanut farmer, he's gotten further then you ever will and contributed more then you ever will.

The World is full of selfish pricks, selfish countries, selfish governments and so on. No country should have nukes, what makes you think that, you can have nukes but not your neighbour! There is so much injustice in this pile of ****ty World. If you have the so called "rights" to have nukes for blah blah reasons than expect everyone around you and everywhere else to have them too. What ****es me off is the countries such as UK and USA complaining about Iran and other middle east having nukes and they will use it against us blah blah.

No country has any rights to tell another country what to do and how to do things. Its like hey I can have a car but my neighbour should not be allowed to have one! I wonder how all these western countries would feel if Iran e.g told them that they are not allowed to have nukes but Iran itself is..!

Anyway this thread is pointless, woow Israel has nukes, yeah would of been a woow if Iran was the only one to have them but that's not the case is it! So far in history we know only one country has used a nuke and no need for naming it.

One thing for sure that we know is that, who ever pulls the trigger (press the button) on those nukes first, we are pretty much wiped out.

You think Iran would use nuclear weapons if it has one?

In your dreams. No country... I mean NO country would use one against Israel or Russia or the US because if it did, then the country would cease to exist in a month. Its cities will be decimated without any forethought.

The Iranian government is not stupid in one way. They were elected to lead the country because of the ridiculous involvement of the US when Iran tried to nationalize its oil.

I love people refuse to look at the whole perspective from an unbiased perspective. It's like fanboys but on a political scale. Apple vs. Mac = Israel lobby vs. Iran/Middle Eastern lobby.

Would anyone EVER use nukes against Israel? Here is one reason why, it's a holy site for MANY reigions... would would they destroy their own holy land?

It's only a small area of land. The term "holy" is only added because it has sentimental value for religious people. Military leaders and presidents don't look at things emotionally.

Exactly. Imagine the reaction from the Muslim and Jewish community if a country blew up Al Aqsa mosque. The retaliation from the other governments would be the last of their worry.

No, but they would consider the possible consequences of their actions, and blowing up something with such religious importance is asking for major trouble. In the case of Iran, nuking that area would be suicide.

I was just clarifying that people don't like to mess around with Jereusalem and such places because too many people hold that land in high regard even though it's just a piece of land. When push comes to shove and someone is threatened or wants revenge then it wouldn't even matter if it's holy land or not.

    • Normally, I admit when a title is clickbait (unfortunately, it's become somewhat necessary in AI-dominated news sections today), but in this case, all supported versions is implied and doesn't need to be spelled out in the title. Of course, I'm covering a Patch Tuesday update but that is only available to supported Windows SKUs. All our coverage relates to supported Windows software and SKUs only unless we expressly state that it's "unsupported", "unofficial", or "third-party". I'm sorry, but supported/official SKUs don't need to be spelled out as such in every Neowin headline.
    • ALL versions or ALL SUPPORTED versions? Neowin does it again.
    • But the reality is it will work for people's needs, and they don't care about the technology that makes it. Clearly not everyone's needs, but that low end space where personal laptops were only used to type emails, watch content and browse websites, but they didn't want to do that on a small screen device. Heck, writing that out I can now see the connection and reason it'll do so well. Apple is about experience. If the experience is bad, they don't release it. Low end Windows laptop manufacturers up until this point have not taken that into consideration ever before, so slow laggy usage with brittle slimey plastic shells were common. I hope that the low end space at least creates better physical products that last a bit longer, and if Microsoft get their act together, they could also have a solid OS on such low end hardware that would actually make the experience work for what the hardware was intended for. The fact that the CPU is a "cellphone", sorry mobile phone processor is irrelevant. It's about the experience, and so far, that sounds quite solid.
    • Hello, Bonjour is Apple's implementation of a multicast-DNS service, which allows devices running Apple's software and/or hardware to find each other on your local network.  I believe the Windows version was last updated around 2010. If you do not need it, you can stop and disable the Bonjour service in the Services Control Manager (filename: SERVICES.MSC).  Once you have done that, the operating system will no longer attempt to load the service.
