generalt
A few months ago I was able to log on to my dad's or my brother's computer and view the php pages that I placed in my Apaches htdocs directory by simply typing http//intranet into their browser's address bar. However, for some reason I can no longer do that... Whenever I do it, it waits for a second or two (searching for http://intranet ?) and then sticks a 'www.' in front of it and off we go to the internet... is there a setting or something that has changed (doesnt work in ie nor firefox) in their browsers? I can get it on my computer, but not theirs! as far as I know, nothing should have changed...
velkymx
Did you try to access the intranet by IP of the intranet machine directly? Instead of http://intranet/ try http://IPADDRESSHERE/ i.e.: http://192.168.1.100/
