The Homebrew Channel

The Homebrew Channel is a channel for launching Wii homebrew applications without the need to run the Twilight Hack first. It will list apps stored and organised on an SD card in a nice little GUI, which you can very easily customise with descriptions and shiny little .png icons all by yourself if you want. You can also launch homebrew apps via TCP (with a correctly configured PC) or USB Gecko. Both of those built in options make it extremely convenient for testing out new code, as well as a general purpose homebrew launcher. You've seen the video,

now try it yourself!

Has anyone else bar me installed The Homebrew Channel?

It's really professionally done, comes with a really good looking Wii Banner!

Right now im using a Snes emulator and it's great. Works in 480p which is a lot nicer on my HDTV than the WiiShop classics that run in 576i instead of 480p.

I can also use ScummmVM on my Wii :woot:

Interesting, might check it out, my Wii needs some use, SNES roms = Win, cant wait for more stuff.

@Audio: does it have StateSave and load?

Yeah, and support for WiiMote/Classic and Gamecube.

It saves states to your SD card.

Sweet, that seals the deal for me, Donkey Kong Country and Mario World, here i come again...

Wii64 is the N64 emulator, but it's still a WIP in comparison to how well the Snes emulator works.
