Hmm. I've never seen the error appear like that. But you can't blame Vista here.

Try re-setting your browser's cache (CTRL+ F5)? Are you certain that you have the latest version of Flash installed?

How about trying it in a different browser? Are you using IE7 on the XP machine you say the videos work on?

It's NOT a Vista problem. It's a problem with the new player, I believe, because I've got that problem a few times. I'm not sure if it was on Vista or OSX or XP though, that I got the problem, thought the OS shouldn't have anything to do with it.

Make sure your Flash is up to date.

Are you using IE7 or FF or ... ?

I'm using Minefield nightlies here and it happens.

Usually just refreshing a few times will fix it. Try a CTRL+F5 (or is it SHIFT+F5?). That may fix it.

When a video is removed, you see a long red box stating it has been removed not in the video itself, right?

Yeah but when you're trying to play the removed video in an embedded player on another website it states the error in the video like it did in the screenshot.

Why is youtube.com in your "Local intranet" zone? That could be what is causing your issue.

Well noticed.

Also with the new player, some vids stream slower for me, some use it and some don't. Can't you decide which one to use? (ie, opting in/out of the beta)
