honestly, the program looks like garbage now and should be redesigned. 7.0 looked pretty good and they should've kept that sort of look instead of making it all huge, bubbly and almost vista-like (and the program still looks out of place even with vista)

Indeed, the latest version looks unclean... Apatch fixes up a lot but the icons + the color scheme ruin it... It needs to be brighter, clearer and less fancy borders that take over space only.

I also still have that one on my pc, though, untabbed and A-Patched. Awesome how new it feels!

people love to bitch about anything that MS make

if it is apple that create WLM then all of you will says who great it is

I'm used to swear so much about this application that no.

I think people can recognize what's good and bad from Apple. I consider myself a fanboy, yet there's a couple of things from Apple that I don't like much. Ok, not a lot, but yeah.

For the record, I'm also using it daily and also consider it the app that sucks the most in everything I have.

I'm on the Mac and I use Adium because it is a little bit better according to me (it's still retarded a lot because it's using an old version of msn protocol and doesn't have all the features).

Basically, the full MSN on windows is bloated with crap and bugs. The stripped-down versions of MSN usually lack a few interesting features. It can be direct filer transferring, video conference, sending custom emoticons, offline messaging, handwriting, etc.

As I said somewhere else, stop changing the GUI, it was fine in MSN6, it had this 'special look' to it already, and squash all those nasty bugs man!

I don't know... I remember applying some patch or other to WLM last year (which I still believe is the current version), and that version still works fine. I don't see how much cleaner it could possibly get. I think the only feature I could want is tabbed chat windows (even though I hardly ever use the thing).

You can get tabbed chats with MSG Plus Live.

Tabbed Chats

Use a tabbed web browser? why not use the same thing for your conversations? All your chat windows can now be grouped into a better single one. Different positions, different options, this feature is yours to customize.

I for one, love the WLM. I use the handwriting feature a lot, and since switching to Mac, I've really missed WLM. I wish MS would come up with something similar for us Mac-users.

Is this >> http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/emai...ngerformac.html << what you're looking for?

We want them to build a client that is sleek, no bloat, no winks, no eppilepsy-inducing nudges, etc... (no I'm not eppileptic but I have heard from people that are that the nudge shake CAN actually cause seizures.

The problem is that new releases tend to include more useless features, not have them removed. Thus, I'm perfectly happy not replacing something that already works.

    • That's not clickbait. Clickbait is headlines like, "You'll never guess what this person looks like now" for example. For goodness sake, take a look around the internet if you think this is clickbait. How do sites survive if people don't click through to articles? How many people in all honesty would have clicked this if it had your suggested headline? You and those upvoting your post won't be happy until the web is a couple of hundred websites all behind a paywall.

    • Or use Epic games and get full games for free. lol Steam and their demos. Thankfully there’s competition
    • Maybe I missed it, but does this say anywhere that the game save bug has been squashed? I haven't encountered it myself, but it would be nice to know I'm good to go. Anyway, amazingly well done game. Mostly more of the same. ...but when the same is best in class with improved graphics and features, then a win.
    • Well when your game flops, you should expect this. If I do bad at work, I would expect a layoff. Less than 1600 people played it on steam. https://steamdb.info/app/1934570/charts/
