wellofsouls, doesn't Opera have exactly similar auto-update feature? I haven't seen any options to turn off browser.js updates through the GUI, afaik it automatically downloads updates once a week.

Opera can only alert you of a new version, you have to download it yourself from the site. I actually prefer auto update, although I'm not friggin paranoid.

I wasn't talking about program updates. Opera uses a browser.js file to workaround web site bugs, and as far as I know the browser.js file is kept up to date much like the Firefox block list.

Talk about paranoia. You cannot have the security features, 3-4, while avoiding 1, 2, and 5. It's impossible for it to be any other way.

To have the security features of 3-4, the browser must send TCP packets to Mozilla. TCP packets require an originating IP. Thus, 3-4 necessarily entail 1. Because TCP packets are sent when the software is in use, 1 necessarily entails 2 and 5. Thus 3-4 necessarily entail 1, 2, and 5. You can only choose to allow all of it or none of it because there are no other options.

Playground Games quickly pulled the plug on the exploit by disabling one of the game's online modes, and today, the studio is rolling out another hotfix. In my review, I complained about the game still showering gamers with cars, credits, and wheelspins. As such, earning money in Forza Horizon 6 is not a particularly difficult task. You simply have to play the game, crazy, I know. However, people still found an easier path to becoming a billionaire in Forza Horizon 6. All you had to do was purchase the Hummer EV, install a specific tune, shift in reverse while going at about 15 MPH, hit a wall, and get launched into the stratosphere at the speed of light. While mid-air, launch Eliminator and quickly get eliminated. Boom, the game just awarded you with a few million in-game credits.
