"Liverpool reclaim summit but fall short of peak form" is the headline in the Independent today. Sums it up really..

It was a dull game.. Liverpool missed Torres as much as Chelsea missed Drogba.. but still they drew atleast.. there was a scare in the last minutes but Boa Morte missed an easy goal scoring opportunity..

Good for us lot though.. difference from top of table is still in single figures :p

Typical Chelsea fan?

I've watched every single Liverpool game this season, and even been to a few of them.

Unfortunately I've been busy with work/school. Living an ocean away doesn't help either, we are very limited as to what games we get on tv.

Typical liverpool fan being a tool.

Arsenal slipped up last night against Burnley, its a really open cup now especially if Utd go out.

At least they beat Chelsea in the league, even if it was thanks to the referee

Since Arsenal probably can't win this year I'm hoping for a 'Pool win, I really don't like Chelsea and ManU.

We only get like 2 Premier League games a week on TV here, but internet is a wonderful thing :D

yeah man, its hard watching games this side of the water, especially when you are right beside the pacific ocean, and not the atlantic. You think its hard for greg, it's even harder for me. Some times i just can't do it (like i didn't catch this weeks game), because the game is at 4 AM and i have class in the morning... Champions league games are fine, 1130 AM usually Pacific time and i NEVER miss those ones. But EPL games are a huge effort.

Liverpool escape censure over Shields support

The Football Association will not take any formal action against Liverpool after their players wore T-shirts carrying a message of support for a fan who was jailed for the attempted murder of a Bulgarian waiter in 2005.

Shields' parents formed part of the pre-match demonstration.

Liverpool players wore the T-shirts in the warm-up for the Premier League match against West Ham on Monday.

Michael Shields was sentenced to 15 years in prison after being convicted of the attempted murder of Martin Georgiev in Bulgaria on a holiday taken after seeing his side win the Champions League final in Istanbul.

Liverpool's players were seen wearing 'Free Michael now' T-shirts while warming up ahead of Monday's televised 0-0 draw with West Ham at Anfield and Brookside actress Sue Johnston was invited on to the pitch with Shields' parents to make a speech calling for British justice secretary, Jack Straw, to "do the right thing".

Despite another man confessing to the attack, Shields was locked up and his sentence was reduced to 10 years on appeal. He was transferred to the UK to serve the remainder of his sentence, but his supporters have never halted their campaign to prove his innocence.

Another Liverpool fan admitted being responsible for the crime before later retracting his confession and Shields' case will go before a high court review on Thursday.

An FA spokesman said: "We have spoken to Liverpool Football Club about this matter. We understand that Michael Shields' case is a very emotive issue and one that many Liverpool players and fans feel strongly about.

"Having heard the club's explanation we will not be taking any formal action, and we are satisfied that they understand the sensitivities around football matches being used as a platform for political messages.''

LET HIM GO!!!

Yup, I'm a tool for watching my team and going to the games, and you of course are not a tool because you haven't watched one Chelsea game this season. Makes sense.

I called you a tool because of your remarks. I've been to many sporting events of teams that I support this year, US Football, Hockey, College Soccer, College Basketball, etc... Hell, I haven't missed a Tampa Bay Lightning game this year because I work for them....I watched a few preseason games from the epl but we only get 2 Chelsea games on tv a season. However, I am a true blue member so I am supporting my team in that sense. Would you pay 120$ a year for a team that you live over 4410 miles from?

The shed is calling you back my friend...

Edit: Its really 4,400 miles not 4,000!

Just got back from CC game vs Watford. Comfortable Spurs win in the end, although Watford took their goal well and looked good in the first 15 of each half.

Incredible singing though in the second half HARRY REDKNAPPS, BLUEANDWHITE ARMY! YIDS! Spurs are on their way to Wembley.

    • The current Statcoungter desktop numbers has Google Chrome increasing it's market share this past year and currently commanding 75% share. Everybody else is just making up the numbers with even MS Edge losing 3% this past year and has dipped just below 10% share which is staggering considering it's default on every Windows deviced purchased. If these numbers are correct that terrible Edge number is both devastating and embarrassing for MS especially when you add in the terribly low Bing market share. This leads me to ask a couple of questions as the default browser holding just less than 10% market share seems really weird. It used to be that all Chromium browsers were being counted as Google Chrome in some cases.  Is this still happening? Do these high Google Chrome numbers contains some Edge user numbers?
    • Yeah, all web browsers seem to have some junk in them these days. The regular Brave browser has a lot of unnecessary stuff in it, similar to Microsoft Edge, so I don't see any benefits of using Brave over Microsoft Edge if you already have Microsoft Edge fully set up with adblockers and that. The cleanest or best free browser outside of 'Microsoft Edge' I’ve tried so far is 'Opera Air'. It still has some bloat, but nowhere near as much as Brave browser, for example. I have a system wide Adblocking program for Windows 11 that doesn't just blocks ads in the the web browser, but over the whole thing. I don't really need a web browser with an inbuilt adblocker because of that.
    • I have been using Firefox for years.
    • I'd trust open source stuff on github more then closed source binaries from Microsoft.
