I just hope that Arsenal can beat Man Utd this weekedn to shut up all the bloody enormous group of Arsenal fans in my class/school!

Walcott and Gallas will return.. no van Persie though or Ade... so Bendtner and Vela up front..

I still believe that on our day we are unstoppable.. but those are only the days when opposition plays attacking football.. if Man Utd decides to sit back.. Arsenal can lose.. coz we are not physical or good in air plus we miss long range shooters.. van Persie and Rosicky..

AW MUST buy!!

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has hit back at Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger's criticism of his side, accusing the Frenchman of a 'change of tack'.

Wenger had initially praised Stoke for their performance after they claimed a 2-1 Premier League win over his charges at the Britannia Stadium last Saturday.

However, he has since accused some of the Potters players of deliberately trying to injure his side during the encounter.

Stoke chairman Peter Coates strongly defended the club on Tuesday and now Pulis has released a lengthy statement outlining his disappointment at Wenger's public outburst.

Confessed

He said on the club's official website: "Most managers up and down the country are very protective of their football clubs and that protection is usually at its height in 'after game interviews', where we defend our team's performances and our players' mistakes in every way possible - from blaming referees not seeing players' indiscretions and so on. We have every angle covered.

"In Stoke-on-Trent on Saturday evening Mr Wenger talked openly about Arsenal's encounter with Stoke, as being a 'typical English encounter'.

"He commended my team's organisation, my team's commitment and confessed that on the day Stoke City thoroughly deserved to win the game. Very open and very honest.

"Over the weekend, Arsenal have been criticised by the media over their commitment to not only our game, but also previous games they have been involved in.

"In London 48 hours later and 150 miles away from Stoke-on-Trent, Mr Wenger changed tack and has tried to rewrite history.

"His comments about my team are there for everybody to read and certainly made me smile, along with I'm sure 27,000 supporters at the game, millions of TV viewers and the massed press who interviewed him after the game.

"Remember there was only one red card [for Robin van Persie] on Saturday and the last time I watched the game it certainly was not a Stoke City player who received it.

Fool

"As for Rory Delap's challenges on Theo Walcott and Bacary Sagna - Rory is as honest and committed as they come, they were free-kicks, but Rory would never purposely go out to injure a fellow professional - it's just not in Rory's nature.

"Don't forget not so long ago Rory was sitting in a hospital bed with a double fracture. Further as I recall the game Emmanuel Adebayor was booked for a chest-high challenge on Ryan Shawcross.

"I and my Football Club have tremendous respect for Mr Wenger and Arsenal football club, but as Mr Wenger is such a learned professional and on a great day in American electoral history, I would like to remind him of Abraham Lincoln's great quotation, 'You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time'."

Ha ha ha!

Ha ha ha!

My point exactly... AW the great spin doctor is at it again.. more excuses and more 'don't tackle us' demands... sick of this frankly.. this is not a solution.. it's part of the prob.. we are not buying physical players to tackle this issue and Wenger comes out after every game attacking the opposition with hollow words.. And on such an important day in American history I want to say.. we need change too..

?I know what I said and [my views] have not been transformed into bitterness after the defeat. It is an answer to a statement made by a player from Stoke about my players.

?I congratulated Stoke on their victory from after the game. But I was not happy with some tackles and I just wanted to say that you don?t need to be brave to tackle a guy from behind. The brave one is the guy who tries to play football. I maintain that strongly.

?Sometimes in England you can say ?oh you didn?t fancy that?. Of course we don?t fancy that because that is not football.

?You can look at the Fair Play table, who is top? Arsenal Football Club. So first of all we have no lessons to learn from anybody on that front. Look at the team with the least fouls in the Premier League - it is Arsenal Football Club.

?I am responsible for the behaviour of my team and when you look at the Fair Play table, you see that Arsenal are top. And that [includes] the behaviour of the manager on the touchline and the players on the field. I do not make that table.

?Instead of having a go at us you should look somewhere else.?

Aaaaaah.. and the fans appreciate that Mr Wenger... but where's the trophy for being top of that table?

Gianfranco Zola has sided with Arsene Wenger against Stoke in the row over brute force or the beautiful game.

The Arsenal boss slammed City's bid to stop his side playing their trademark passing game on Saturday as the Gunners crashed to a 2-1 defeat.

The upset and Stoke's reliance on Rory Delap's long throw has sparked a debate as to whether fans would rather see the ball constantly in the air or on the ground.

Zola, whose side were beaten by Arsenal at Upton Park this season, said: "We all have to make sure this remains an entertaining game."

"It's not just a war where you have to win at all costs."

"We have to perfect this spirit because it has always been very good over here."

Zola, whose side face Everton tomorrow after four defeats and a draw in their last five games, added: "It doesn't mean if you lose a game or two you are bad."

Stoke City will be going straight down to the championship if they continue the same strategy.

Referees watch the games and will not be neutral when Stoke players are kicking lumps out of the opposition.

They will end up with 9 players against 11.

On another note, there is a rumor going around, that if Wenger doesn't turn things around he is on his way out.

I was having this same disucssion with the bskyb repair man yesterday.

It's the board that need to jog on.

We need David Dein back.

The board have so much money available, it makes Chelseas's' spending power nothing to write home about.

A share in Arsenal is currently ?4,600.

Since September last year (2007), Arsenal football club shares listed on the Ofex market have risen from ?1,500 per share to a staggering ?4,600 per share.

So why are we still not bidding for Alonso, Barry, Carlton Cole, Agbonlahor etc.

We have Rosiky out, dunno when he will come back. Eduardo, probably still 7 months away from an appearance.

We need rock solid defenders, like Keown, Dixon, Adams and Winterburn, what we got...

We have a has-been, Silvestre, as our only purchase.

We could have purchased Matthew Upson.

Ces Fabregas is again linked with a big move out of Ashburton Grove this xmas.

If Arsenal do not win anything more than the league cup and finish5th or less, then Wenger needs to rethink his future.

The only manager I ever wanted to replace him, is the England manager Capello.

We must buy!!

Eduardo will be back soon... so no need to go for Santa Cruz, Martins or Owen now.. although a forward that can head the ball too would be great..

I'd like AW to get 1-2 experienced players from EPL.. Barry, Upson and/or David Weir (though he plays in Scottish League :p)

and some players from abroad.. Veloso being one of them..

Rest can be Arda, Ayala, van Buuten, van Bomel, Baptista, Heitinga and Yaya Toure..

a top class goalkeeper like Coupet, Hilderbrand or Sergio Asenjo..

and for Christ's sake.. Strip captaincy off Gallas (the whiner) and give it to a winner!!!

I miss Henry.. a bit off topic but I feel sad to see him struggling at Barca :(

The only manager I ever wanted to replace him, is the England manager Capello.

That is not actually the only man I would like to replace AW.. if that time comes..

Marco van Basten is a possibility too... but I'd not like to take that gamble..

for me its Capello or Guus Hiddink..

I would imagine that would be factored into his contract, as in he receives a lower basic wage with high appearance fees.

He is not in the England team at the moment, and that matters to him a lot more than club football so I imagine he will try and move to a bigger club.

He might go to Spurs or Arsenal, and I fancy Liverpool and Utd (if they lose Tevez) to make a move for him.

man would i love owen coming back home... he hasn't been the same since he left

Would be good for Liverpool if he comes and finds that old form.. Owen was great at the Kop.

But I doubt he will be the same and I doubt Rafa will go for him.. see how he brought Fowler back and that didnt work so well..

But do you really need another striker? Torres, Babel, Keane, Kuyt, NGog, Nemeth...

^ say it does happen, and he does leave. Liverpool getting him wouldn't be so bad. Ngog is still very young and Nemeth you don't really know how he'll turn out either. He hasn't really played and he is already 31. Plus i see babel in more of a kuyt role as an attacking midfielder other then a striker. There is nothing wrong with depth. And adding a world class striker to your squad would be great. Cause honestly, the team with torres isn't looking so good lately.

Owen was never loved by the fans as much as Carra, Fowler or Gerrard are.

I'm not his biggest fan, I'd take him back on a free though if we was willing to take reduced wages and sit on the bench a lot more.

Babel and Kuyt tend to play more on the wing, and N'Gog and Nemeth are only youngsters.

Yes!!!! :D We WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!!! We Wiiin!

We beat Man U.. world is beautiful again and Gooners everywhere can sing!!!

lol...

Nasri was sensational...

Cesc is out of form.. we should've score 2-3 more goals on counterattack but passing was ****..

Diaby and Denilson should be playing for reserves.. we should buy 1 experienced player to replace one of them and Rosicky can come back where he used to play...

Oh and Howard Webb is a C**t!!!

    • Here is the new Surface Laptop Ultra wallpaper in high resolution by Taras Buria Earlier this week, Microsoft announced the Surface Laptop Ultra, its brand-new high-end laptop powered by NVIDIA's brand-new RTX Spark processor. As usual, Microsoft gives each new device a unique wallpaper, and the Surface Laptop Ultra is no exception. While the device is not publicly available yet, somebody has already extracted its wallpaper, giving everyone a chance to get a piece of the upcoming laptop in its full-resolution glory. The Surface Laptop Ultra has a very dark, abstract wallpaper that resembles the stock wallpapers in Windows Server, albeit with much less color. Having this dark, grim wallpaper highlights the laptop's mini-LED display and its ability to cut off parts of the screen's backlight to achieve OLED-like black levels. However, if you also like light wallpapers, we made a white version by simply inverting its colors. You can download both wallpapers below (click the image, right-click it, and select "Save as"): The Surface Laptop Ultra is expected to launch later this year. Microsoft is not revealing full details yet, including the price. However, Microsoft confirmed up to 1 petaflop of AI performance and RTX 5070-level of GPU performance. The heart of the laptop has up to 20 CPU cores and 6,144 GPU cores. Additionally, Microsoft and NVIDIA boast high CPU efficiency for all-day battery life. As for the display, it is a 15-inch mini-LED display with a pixel density of 262 ppi and a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits. Of course, not everyone needs this amount of power, and certainly not everyone can afford it. For those who need a more affordable device, Microsoft is also preparing the next-generation Surface Pro powered by the Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. Weeks ahead of the announcement, details about this computer were leaked by a retailer. Do you like the Surface Laptop Ultra's stock wallpaper? Share your thoughts in the comments. • From all that I've read on the subject--not that much, really--it looks to me like companies and parents are trying to protect themselves from children using their parents accounts to run up giant bills, sometimes in the thousands of dollars, and the first the parents know about it is when they get sued... Internet companies have been sued for tailoring their ads to children, which is kind of old news. My belief is that policing starts at home with the parents, and the reason that so many laws that can't be enforced are being passed is because parents are eschewing their responsibilities, claiming not enough time, not enough knowledge, etc. Giving kids cell phones sans Internet connectivity is a good place to start--confine Internet activity to PCs in the home that the parents regulate. My kids are all grown and gone, I'm happy to say... They have their own kids to worry about.

    • BTW DXVK is also available on Windows and offers similar benefits like on Linux when it comes to performance, at least in some titles. The Raceroom racing sim for example even offers DXVK as one of its officially supported options and it can achieve ridiculous improvements in certain situations, like quite literally doubling (or more) the framerates
