null.
Hey, wondering if anyone can help me out. I've got a few songs I've ripped from CDs with EAC in v0 quality VBR mp3 and they've got a long silence at the end of the song, like 5-10 minutes of silence/very little noise and then a "hidden" song plays. Is there any way I can remove the silence in between without effecting the quality too much/at all? Only option I can think of is to rip them at 320 VBR and then save the reduced version as VBR, but I'm sure that'll have an effect on the quality. Thanks :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/647018-editing-vbr-mp3s/ Share on other sites
+Nik Louch Subscriber² Posted July 3, 2008 Subscriber² Share Posted July 3, 2008 Rip them to WAV. Do your editing. Convert to MP3. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/647018-editing-vbr-mp3s/#findComment-589529790 Share on other sites

null.
Ahh, excellent. Forgot about WAV. Thanks :) Which program is best for the WAV > VBR MP3 conversion? Edit: never mind, just dragged the WAV file into EAC and it converted it to the MP3 for me. Thanks again.
