If your below 105 health or they get a crit on you then yes it can happen, otherwise in will never be a 1-hit kill (unless Force-A-Nature does more dmg).

Happened last night where I had full healthy. The guy playing scout was pretty good too, but it was one shot, close range, non-crit. To quote a children's book, "I was so mad."

Sorry but its just not possible, the scouts scatter gun does up to 105 damage point blank without crits........no classes have 105 or less health. He had to have gotten a crit or you were already hurt some. That being said, in my 15 or so hours of playing scout (just got the game last week), I have never gotten a 1-hit kill on any class.....its just not possible unless you get a crit or there hurt. Best I had was a 2-hit kill on a demo, first hit was a crit, second finished him off....both shots were fired mid-air I just got extremely lucky and both nailed him......other than that (even counting crits) it has always taken me 2-shots to kill anyone....even when they were standing still and I was standing directly behind them.

And I'll argue that it is possible because it's happened, several times. End of story.

I go off facts, not what someone thinks has happened to them.

But meh, no point in arguing if your not going to believe the facts because you think you saw something that you didn't......

That's because I know what I saw, so it doesn't matter. Moving on.

Man, scout seems like the person with great possibilities. Think about what he has. You hit a baseball, chug a drink, and hit the person as they get hit with the ball... or you use the dbshotty, hit them and throw them back, while they are in the air, chug drink, and beat them before they land.. sounds fun and full of possibility.

People on steam forums keeps saying today's update is going to be "The scout is a spy!".

That would be both hilarious and awesome if that was true.

Doubt it :p Probably the rumour mill in over-drive. Hopefully it's out soon though! Shouldn't be too long now...

I was playing yesterday and people were saying that in-game. I doubt it though.

Valve made a post on their forums the other day stating that it was NOT a spy update......granted I doubt they would admit it was before the "surprise"......most of the times companies dont confirm OR deny rumors such as this being a hidden spy update.

Chances are if it was a spy update, they wouldn't post a day before the update specifically stating it wasn't, at the most they wouldn't post at all about it.

I dislike the scout. It irritates the sh*t outta me when you get killed SO easy by a scout with their stupid scatter gun. That thing is SUPER powerful.

So now Valve decides to release a scout update with new weapons that will make an already irritating class even more irritating.

Scouts aren't that bad. In fact they're easy kills with any weapon. Even the crappy syringe gun.

It depends what skill they are tbh. Scouts who are good enough at aiming to twoshot scouts, medics, demomen etc... can get very annoying. A scout shouldn't lose against a medic using the syringe gun, but the blautsauger can put up a good fight (9 times out of 10 the scout should be able to take down the medic though).

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
    • CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
