I'm gonna become a professional gamer cause I've got such mad skillz, homies!!!! My skillz be unmatch3d by n e of u foolz!!!!!!!!!

;) Nice mature response there. I never said you had to be a professional gamer to have skill at the game, you don't actually need to play it very much at all in fps games, a lot of it is just reaction time and hand eye coordination. Although I guess these can be trained. Just because you play competitively doesn't mean your trying to be a professional gamer, a lot of people just find it more fun because it requires you to use some intelligence rather than just mindlessly spam the crap out of each other on a 32 slot server  It is also fun just in the social aspect of being in a team.

Also playing competitively doesn't necessarily mean your good, you can just play matches in a group of friends for a bit of fun, so does that mean they are professional leet gamers who talk like idiots?

Last night I got a duplicate Axtinguisher. Tonight I got a duplicate Ambassador, and a Blautsager which I never had as I barely play Medic.

Last nite on the server I regular on, I got three (3) FAN's in a row... Three of the same damn thing... What the hell? I have 7 of those things now...

The only unlock I want now is the medic hat, then i don't care what i get.

Two people I know have got them and I've seen a few dotted around the servers I play on. So far seen the medic, heavy and demo. The heavy one is hilarious
i saw medic, demo, engineer and scout with hats. interesting..

I've yet to see another player with the Spy hat. I feel unique! :D

I just noticed a discrepancy with the Huntsman. The Sniper character model holds the bow of the Huntsman with his left hand and the arrow with his right hand. However, the view model shows the complete opposite (hence why it's on the left side of the screen). Imagine how you'd hold a bow and arrow if you're right handed. You would hold the bow with your left hand, and the arrow with your right (see here). Has anyone ever noticed this until now? It's odd that Valve would make a mistake like that, unless of course they did it intentionally for a reason that is currently beyond my knowing. But I doubt that's the case. I think one of the modellers forgot to make it right handed by default. In any case, I hope Valve fixes it with the next update.

The Sniper is my number one class and it took me awhile to notice it. The Huntsman is a great medium to close-quarter weapon. It's great for moving in close to the enemy to get a few quick kills. Anyway, I hope it's fixed before I get too accustomed to it.

could we get some pics of the hats for people like me who aint seen them before?

I posted a couple of pictures of my Spy with the Fancy Fedora here. This link, however, shows all the hats.

The_Decryptor: That last screenshot is interesting, to say the least.

Relax, I wasn't aiming anything at you -- just teasing at the entire conversation. :)

I noticed it. I assumed it was to do with interference with the HUD.

That's what I thought at first. I went over to the Steam forums and it's a major bug. I'd be disappointed if Valve doesn't fix it.

Not to sound rude, but that's just being so nit-picky it's not even funny.

It's a bug with the view model, not a size or colour issue. I fail to see how not tolerating a bug counts as being "nit-picky". :|

    • Can you read? I've said I'm willing to pay more for a notchless (no notch) 3:2 screen.
    • Not even an OLED display on the laptops. Also it seems that the laptop design isn't the same as the Surface Ultra model. Looks like bargain bin at high prices.
    • make your own notch - it's not that hard
    • VirtualBox 7.2.10 by Razvan Serea VirtualBox is a powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software. Presently, VirtualBox runs on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Solaris hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7, 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4, 2.6, 3.x, 4.x, 5.x and 6.x), Solaris and OpenSolaris, OS/2, OpenBSD, NetBSD and FreeBSD. Some of the features of VirtualBox are: Modularity. VirtualBox has an extremely modular design with well-defined internal programming interfaces and a client/server design. This makes it easy to control it from several interfaces at once: for example, you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine GUI and then control that machine from the command line, or possibly remotely. VirtualBox also comes with a full Software Development Kit: even though it is Open Source Software, you don't have to hack the source to write a new interface for VirtualBox. Virtual machine descriptions in XML. The configuration settings of virtual machines are stored entirely in XML and are independent of the local machines. Virtual machine definitions can therefore easily be ported to other computers.
