I got Jarate last night!

Changed to sniper because I was just messing around and being useless, zoomed in, saw a guy and pressed the fire button, then my PC locked up for a few seconds. When it unfroze I was dead (pyro got me), but I ended up dominating the guy, which got me enough achievements for Milestone 2.

So right now I have:

- Cloak and Dagger

- 2 Ambassadors

- 3 Axtinguishers

- 2 Backburners

- KGB

- Sandvich

- Ubersaw

- Blutsauger

- 3 Jarates

- Flare gun

- Razorback

- 2 Huntsmen

- Natascha

- Kritskrieg

Missing: all of the Scout unlockables :hmmm:

I have every unlockable in varying amounts (1, 2, 3, etc). What I don't have are the hats, except for the Fancy Fedora. Anyone else have hats? I'd love to have the Sniper hat. I might even be willing to trade my Spy hat for one. Speaking of trading, Valve is taking awhile with that trading system.

You guys who have hats are seriously lucky. You have about 0.44% chance of getting a hat drop, in theory I could get 220 drops and get 1 hat (of course since it's all chance it could be much more or 0). I haven't got one yet anyway.

So i would advise against trading a hat for weapons since weapon drops are so much more common than hats.

These were collected over a day tracking about 2000 idlers drops, so it might turn out that hat drops are 0.5%, but it doesn't make much of a difference :p

I didn't do this by the way.

I guess these were collected off of the SpA servers? :) Looking at the percentages, they're pretty much equal, so at least Valve were speaking the truth when they said it was random :p I think I've had maybe 40 drops in total, I'll maybe luck out and get a hat soon!

@Minimoose: When I said "a few" I was thinking along the lines of "around 10" :p Pretty much, all the unlocks I don't have at that point (right now, I don't have: Ambassador, any Sniper, any Scout, KGB, Backburner, Axtinguisher).

For me, the Fro is useless as I never play Demoman :)

I've got over 300 hours poured into him.
*blink blink* 300.... 300?!?!? That's 10 TIMES more than I have played the engineer in TF2 and he's my favorite class!

This is madness.

(:

Nope, someone made an idling application where you can have 10000 people on one server, he recorded all of the data off there over 1 day.

Here's what I can spare at the moment:

  • Ambassador
  • Huntsman
  • Jarate
  • Razorback
  • Force-A-Nature
  • Bonk! Atomic Punch
  • Killing Gloves of Boxing
  • Backburner
  • Axtinguisher

That's about 9 items. Is it a deal? :D

Anyway, those item drop percentages are quite daunting. I knew the hats were rare but not that rare. I guess I had a couple of rabbit's feet on me when I found the Fancy Fedora.

Aye, you have yourself a deal there :) When the trade system comes out, I'll hit you up with a trade :) If I get any of those unlocks between now and then, no worries (unless I get like, all but the Axtinguisher or something :p)

Cool. Valve is certainly taking their time with the trade system. I'm beginning to lose patience, haha.

    • Uhm, that's every business ever, though. It doesn't matter if a bajillion users are using it. As long as it's not making bank, it's probably headed for the graveyard.
    • Yeah Patchou was an active member here, good ol' times indeed.
    • Samsung is the new Google... they don't care if millions of people are using it.
    • Still no word on Tides of Annihilation...... so weird that it wasn't shown at the big Game Fest. Guess I'll put it in the bin like Judas and Squadron 42.
    • Samsung is shutting down yet another app used by millions by David Uzondu Samsung has announced that it is shutting down Samsung Max, its VPN service used by more than 50 million people, effective today. Samsung Max VPN, if you don't know, was an Android app born on February 23, 2018, out of the ashes of Opera Max, a very popular data-saving VPN that Opera had discontinued the previous year. Samsung bought the discontinued service, rebranded it, and added a native Samsung UI to fit the Galaxy ecosystem. The app could do things like compress images, help you manage background data on a per-app basis, reduce video data consumption, shrink music files, optimize webpages, block advertisement trackers in incognito mode, and encrypt your internet traffic on public Wi-Fi networks. Image via SammyGuru If you open the app now, you'd be greeted by a shutdown banner warning that all VPN, data saving, and privacy services stopped functioning on June 15, 2026. The creators failed to provide a reason for the shutdown, instead publishing a farewell note that read: "Thank you for being with us over the years. Your support and activity truly meant a lot to us and helped shape this app into what it became." This same message appears on the Google Play Store listing for the app as well. Max VPN is the latest service from Samsung to join the list of discontinued applications from the company. Just two months ago, the Korean tech giant announced that it is completely shutting down Samsung Messages, forcing millions of users to migrate to Google Messages by next month. The only devices that the shutdown won't affect are older smartphones running Android 11 or lower. Some of the features of Google Messages that Samsung hopes will entice users include AI-powered scam detection to block suspicious links, integrated Gemini AI tools to generate quick replies, custom chat bubbles, and universal RCS compatibility for sharing high-quality media with iOS users. The platform also offers seamless syncing across tablets and smartwatches. In addition to that, users gain access to message scheduling, smart classification, and automated category sorting.
