Nah, that's easy to beat. Just get a couple demomen with ubers from medics to sticky bomb the place.

Yeah it's nice when it works. If you've got a medic combo that know what they're doing they'll take that no problem. Air-blasting pyros however make it a bit more...challenging :p

I feel like the game isn't running like it should be. I'm on a MacBook Pro, 10.6.2, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz, 4GB RAM, Nvidia 8600M GT. I play in full screen etc. Still feels laggy, any tips or just adjusting some settings? (or) Will my specs keep it from running any better regardless of settings adjusted?

I've been saying that for years :laugh: Seriously though, it definitely doesn't seem to run as well now that all the class updates have been done. I don't know if its even supported on a Mac, but make sure you disable Physx in the nvidia control panel. (I normally just uninstall the driver).

There's also various fps configs you could try. Obviously you sacrifice some visual quality, but you can get significantly better performance.

10.6.4, not 10.6.2 just an fyi. Also, what fps configs?

This might sound really dumb but where do yo locate the Nvidia Control panel in OS X? I've only done it in the past on a PC.

No idea, I've never ever used a Mac :rofl:

I'll try and get you some links to a few of the FPS configs. People I play TF2 with use them so I'll find out what one they like best. An FPS config simply tweaks various TF2 commands so that you get increased frames per second. This will make it the game run smoother and should help you kill more enemies! Obviously this comes at a cost of some visual quality, though.

Thanks! :) I'm playing on a laptop so I expect to sacrifice visuals. That's what my Xbox is for lol look forward to hearing what they say.

Quantum's FPS config seems to be the one they're using. It comes in two versions but obviously you'll be wanting the high FPS one. There's a thread and more information about it here. Hope it helps :)

I don't want to sound ungrateful, but that was sort of disappointing. I was expecting a rendition of the whole song with each part being done by a different class/class pair. Not that I don't appreciate how much work obviously went into it.

Despite that video's shortness it's full of funny small things. Notice what happens right after the music cuts out. Also have a look at the spy in the team picture :p

      I think every American should have a course in a 'dry sense of humour' at school; and perhaps 'using sarcasm in jest' oh, and also 'the use or irony in humour'. Slapstick is just about all Americans can understand. It's a pity, as this is the most basic of humour, that requires no thought at all.       What they really need to do is automatically spell "loses" and "lose" correctly since nobody seems to know how to anymore. Then they blame spellcheck/autocomplete and don't realize autocomplete is just filling in the word for them automatically so it was misspelled in the first place.

      If someone chooses to continue using SB and therefore goes through the manual intervention in the thread, afterwards the BSOD problem is gone. Whether they then re-enable the task doesn't matter, they're done, though on such machines it might pay to keep it disabled in case the next update (if there is a next) causes the same problem. OTOH, if someone disables SB in the BIOS, the problem is also gone. Incidentally, I noticed that this task exists even on machines that don't support SB. It's just installed across the board...and runs. Doing what on such machines is a little hazy.
