What would you want for your Vintage Troublemaker's Tossle Cap? I could trade you a spare Vintage Brigand Helm so you could trade that to ViZioN, that way you don't have to trade him your only (and currently equipped) Brigand Helm.

You're awesome, deal.

PM me guys and we'll get this all sorted.

Seems like keys and gifts are the only items that dont drop so you have to buy them. I was playing in a server and 3 people found Mann co supply crates in a sort time span including me. Dont want to buy a key to unlock it and not many people want it when trading.

OMG I have the worst luck crafting. I've crafted 4 random 'hats' since crafting became available and half the time I've gotten duplicates and 3/4 of the time they were spy items. of all the dozens of hats available now what are the odds of getting a duplicate of the 3 hats I already have :(

1. Camera Beard - Already had one from a drop

2. Backbiters Billycock

3. Football Helmet

4. Another Backbiters Billycock :(

If anyone wants to trade a non-vintage backbiters billycock or vintage camera-beard let me know. See my backpack here. I'm willing to trade anything on page 1 or 2 for something I don't have.

Nice one Nagisan. Enjoy! :)

Yup, though the Brigand helm is a nice pyro hat, I have the respectless rubber glove so I never wear it, leaving it perfect for trading and in this case, the perfect trade to Decryptor.

I now have my Shortstop and I freakin love it (along with my new scout beanie). It is not as powerful for surprise attacks as the FaN (though I hate the fan) and it is not as good vs large numbers as the Scattergun, but its a really good balance between the two. It offers quite high damage (less than the scattergun per shot, but faster shots) while offering more ammo than the FaN, and it is MUCH more accurate. I actually sniped down a sentry from long range (outside the sentries range) in less than 2 clips which is much better than the normal pistol, and much better than either shotgun for that range.

Basically, the shortstop fits its name really well, it takes the close-combat requirement of the scout and turns it into a decent close combat weapon with MUCH better medium and long range capabilities. I nearly killed a wrangled sentry at long range too, but after the second clip the engy spotted me and I had to retreat, but one more clip would have done it in.

I love killing pyros with the shortstop outside of their effective attack range though, even when they pull out their shotgun, the shortstop is more effective at that range than any shotgun. Its just amazing if you can aim at medium distances (compared to the scattergun and FaN) while being still pretty powerful close range.

Its not super OP IMHO, I get killed by scattergun and FaN scouts probably a bit more than I kill them (best scout counter is another scout IMO), which is opposite of when I use the scattergun, but I think it will be nerfed in some way, it seems to give the most mobile class much more effective combat ability at medium range, allowing him to keep some distance to keep his health up while still doing good damage. Still need to get the milk and the fish though, I could craft them both but I do not want them that bad.

Finally Valve released what the Scout update should have been IMO (in terms of the primary, at least).....now if only they fix the primary (shortstop) and secondary (pistol) from using the same ammo....they are both pistols sure, but it really limits your ammo if you use both of them. It could be seen as part of the balance though, since the shortstop doesn't have any inherit negative effects about it.

I got a crate.

Willing to trade it for a hat.

:D

Who wants it hit me up with a PM containing your Steam Account name (so I can add you).

I think crates are the new common drop item. People keep finding them and want to trade them since you have to buy a key to unlock it. One guy got a $0.49 Direct Hit from a crate with his $2.49 key.

I got a crate last night. I'm holding onto it for now until they tweak the prices for keys, or allow crates to be smelted with something else.

There's no way I'm paying for a key (as it stands right now) for a chance to acquire a gunslinger, scottish resistance, or an equalizer - I have all of them already. According to the wiki there's a 38.59% chance of obtaining those three weapons with crates.

Whats up with people wanting a damn hat for their new weapon unlocks? It seems like everyone that has the new unlocks wants bare minimum a reclaimed metal for one (which is equivilent to 6 weapons), most of them want 1 or more hats, freakin idiots.

If anyone has the Mad Milk or Mackerel and they are willing to trade it for some of the old weps (I can go up to 3 old weps for one of the mentioned ones), I could craft both of them if I wanted to, but I don't want them bad enough to waste my reclaimed metal (which is why I won't give as much as a reclaimed metal for one of them for a trade).

Also, if anyone has the milkman hat and doesn't want it, I will trade a Vintage Vintage Tyrolean, OR a Vintage Hotrod OR a Vintage Baseball Helmet for it, most people want 2+ hats for one, but its going to be craftable probably next week (according to Valve), so unless it requires more than 1 hat to craft, I am not willing to trade more than 1 hat for it to get it early.

This also sort of serves as a bit of a warning, Valve has stated that the set-based hats are going to be craftable so people who buy them do not get a distinct advantage (currently, its buyers vs lucky people, once its craftable it will be buyers vs lucky people AND anyone who crafts it), so don't waste an absurd amount of stuff trying to get a hat, just wait a week and you will be able to craft it.

I had a crate and a key. The crate got me the Scottish Resistance :/ First and last time that I'll be getting a key for a crate TBH. I had figured it was a one-time thing anyways, as I can't afford to keep buying keys whenever I get a crate, lol :p

Quick question for you guys, I don't have TF2 installed at the moment as I am taking an extended break from it. Is there a way to see how much the items cost in the Steam store, or is it handled through the game?

I don' think you can view the prices outside of the game right now but I would bet on that changing soon. The most expensive of the new hats is ?11.99 currently.

Ok, thanks. Would you or anyone be able to tell me how much the Medic's pickelhaube costs? That's the only hat I really care about.

The prices don't look too bad, but I don't know about those $20 hats, but the other ones look ok.

Yeah ?11.99 for a hat is a bit ridiculous. The only one I'd even consider buying would be the towering pillar of hat as it's pretty difficult to get otherwise. ?6.99 makes me cringe though.

Really? I traded a polycount weapon for a TPoH yesterday. With a few hrs of trading, you can get any hat basically.

www.tf2items.com/id/recon415 <-- 4 hrs of work, last page.

The Ultra 9 185H features 16 cores and 22 threads running at up to 5.1 GHz. It also includes a dedicated NPU utilizing Intel AI Boost at 11 TOPS. On the graphics front, the 185H includes the still fairly capable ARC Graphics (not to be confused with the newer ARC 140T) integrated GPU with a max GPU frequency of 2350 MHz across 8 Xe-cores. It has been said that the iGPU is equivalent to the NVIDIA GeForce 3050 and GTX 1650 in gaming and synthetic benchmarks. Other highlights include an AMOLED display, LPDDR5x memory at 7467 MT/s, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and a fingerprint sensor built into the power button. AI PC? Although the Intel Core Ultra 9 185H includes a dedicated NPU, it's only 11 TOPS; therefore, it does not qualify as a Copilot+ PC. However, it can reach up to 33 TOPS with a combination of NPU, CPU, and GPU. As I said, although we only reviewed the X14 Pro, the unboxing is the same for the X16 Pro, which I noted in my review. The packaging is quite a nice experience. The outer box houses the X16 Pro box with a small compartment that contains the 5-in-1 Dock ($40 value), which appears to be an "Early Bird" inclusion. Upon removing the box cover, the X16 Pro is revealed sitting in a cardboard compartment with two small booklets of documentation. To the left of the X16 Pro are two cardboard compartments containing the 65W charger and Type-C USB cable. What’s In The Box 1 x GEEKOM X16 Pro Ultra-thin Laptop 1 x Type-C to Type-C cable 1.8M 1 x 65W GaN PD Fast Charger 1 x Warranty Card 1 x Thank You Card 1 x User Guide All products sold by GEEKOM receive a 3-year free Warranty from the date you receive the product. • We are reached to the point that apple looks affordable and better choice than anything else, in what dystopia are we living in....
    • Ouch. $1600 for 256GB SSD / 16GB? Even Apple, the purported "target" of Surface devices for a long time, has its MacBook Air M5 at 512GB SSD / 16GB RAM for $999 MSRP. Surface will never be reasonably priced with such low volumes.
    • Sadly price is pretty in line with the other new X2 devices so far. RAM/SSD prices have ruined everything.
