No, Adobe tries to get you to download its stupid download manager which you can then use to download adobe reader.

adobe is just slow and bloated the last i knew.... and i dont see any reason to switch from foxit reader now cause it's quick and just works for reading .pdf files.

Strange as it may sound, I like Adobe Reader 9. I tend to deal with large and/or complicated pdf files. Foxit doesn't always render them properly and occasionally misses somepages when I print them...

Good to have Foxit on a usb stick though.

I prefer foxit and its much lighter than adobe

Ive tested it on a 128mb ram and it started in a matter of seconds while adobe kept on crashing and stopped responding

I like PDF-XChange much more than Adobe and Foxit. Recently I used they but found the better alternative. I've needed a simple and cost-effective product for different works with PDFs. Anyway, for me, PDF-XChange Viewer is the best non-Adobe option around at the moment. The free version here does a lot and even the full-blown version is pretty cheap compared to the others. The free version here does a lot!

We use a lot of government forms in PDF form at work, and many of them just won't work properly with Foxit.
