anyone know where I can get a Police Line/Crime Scene Do Not Cross/Enter style camera strap.

Im looking for a proper strap not a guitar strap mod or one of those straps with the quick release.

I really like the style of the common strap bundled with your DSLR but would like the crime scene stylings (I'm a Crime Scene Examiner you see and would like to have it on my work camera - aye aye sad I know.)

I had a good look over t'internets but came up with nowt (I even emailed Ducti.co.uk to see if they fancy adding such a product to their catalogue lol)

Cheers

These days with so little jobs and so much interest (thansk to CSI glamming the job up) most applicants are drafted in as graduates from forensic/Crime Scene specific degrees.

When I joined you could get in on some standard grades and highers as long as you had the character and integrity required but like I say demand is high supply is not so easier to take a semi trained person than a untrained person.

I have degree in Forensics and Criminolgy if interested.

Its not like CSI either - very slow and methodical my job and to be honest quite boring dealing with low level crime mostly as major incidents are uncommon unless your working for the Met/GMP(manchester) or Glasgow.

Set up of a Scene Examination versus CSI talk I did at Kirkcaldy Museum - note the black suit and white paper suit beyond on the extreme right of the photo. Used that as a means to describe what a CSI would wear at a major incident (MI) - an Armani Suit and what I would wear - a disposable self sealing paper suit (with hood mask glvoes and overshoes).
