Exclusive:

I come to know by one source that Microsoft already working on the successor of Windows 7, or the successor and the successor of Windows 7 (Windows 8 and Windows 9).

The Project is the name Midori "Windows Codename Midori." This is aimed to rebuild entirely Windows, it will be goodbye to NT kernel? This will not be programmed in C / C + + code but in mixed as C #, F #, etc

BS. It is not possible to build an O/S kernel using interpreted code in a language such as C# or F#. Complete and utter fake.

Heres a source for ya.

http://blogs.zdnet.com/microsoft/?p=1466

Search around there for a bit of just google it. Its definetely not certain its the sucessor or the successors successor, but there does seem to be some actual rumour about Midori.

Keyword:"rumor" If you go to http://www.microsoft.com/ and search "Midori" then you won't come up with Windows 8 and 9.

Yeah it's littearly impossible, because at some point you need a machine code level interperter... which almost always has a machine level kernel... even MS's internal demo managed kernel has a native code kernel under it

That source seems fake.Windows 7 is still on planning stages, how come they announce Windows 8 and 9 when,Windows 7 has no complete concept outlined?

Windows NT Kernel is amazing despite what people say about windows,it has evolved in a mature, very adaptable code platform.

Rebuilding from scratch will bring again highly costs to all the industry to adapt,it could be close to a disaster.

Rebuilding from scratch will cause many incompatibilities in this wolrd,it could be a disaster.

Windows 7 is well beyond the planning stages. Development is well on it's way, as a matter of fact, expect to see a beta before the end of the year.

And as for the validity of this information, it's complete BS. The NT kernel isn't going anywhere any time soon. And if they did rewrite windows from the ground up, it sure as hell wouldn't be managed code.

    • This is exactly why I keep saying we are not ready for human free self-driving. These little "bugs" are may seem like random one-offs. There was also the Waymo that drove between police with drawn guns and the suspect they were pointing them at. From a software perspective it is easy to understand how those extremely rare situations may not have been programed for, but that is the point. If AI needs to be told to watch out for every possible contingency, then it can never be successful. There will always be the possibility of a first encounter that the AI needs to understand to avoid.

    • Recycle Bin has been broken for literal YEARS now. The setting to delete files older than 30 days from the bin which is on by default doesn't even work. I have files older than 4 months in it and they are just there still...
    • They’re really desperate to ingrain AI into society hoping to tug the heart strings of public to jump unto the boat of destruction to humanity’s individualism.
