Watching the Jonathan Ross show that I recorded on PlayTV, and LBP gets a plug :)

Sony/MM sent a Sackboy of Jonathan Ross on :p

Low quality, but this is the part -

There's one of Ricky Gervais as well, but the vid cuts short.

That just looks like something knitted together for the sake of the show!

DM said it's fan service, so sadly it's not a gold threaded silk 1:1 replica of J Ross :p

The Ricky Gervais one you don't see is better though.

Oooooh, I never saw DM's comment :p

If anyone manages to find a clip/image of the Gervais one let me know :)

I think the real question here is when/where can i buy a collection of LBP Characters ? :p (doll sorta things)

Knit them yourself

Sony Australia Giving LittleBigPlanet Away With Every PS3 Sold

And not as a hardware bundle. Just as a general, Christmas-y giveaway. The deal was supposed to kick off this Thursday, October 23. It obviously, now, will not be. It'll instead be kicking off a little later, whenever SCE Australia can confirm a local release date. The deal will see every single PlayStation 3 console sold in the country during the holiday season come with a copy of LittleBigPlanet. A free copy of LittleBigPlanet. Even if you don't want one. Good news for Aussies in the market for a PS3! Bad news for LittleBigPlanet's pre-owned market value.

Hello,

Thanks for all of your comments and support! It?s been a tough time for gamers, LBP fans, and MM alike! but it seems that there?s only about 1 week to wait - so thankyou for your patience. It?ll be worth it!

We were waiting to hear from Sony on the new release dates and so we held off on an update until now. They?ve pulled out all the stops to keep the delay down, so now we can let you all know the details.

In the US LittleBigPlanet will begin shipping the week of October 27th and so depending how close your nearest shop is to the trucks you may have your hands on a copy that very day. We would love to hear where/who manages to get it first! Leave a comme:)! :)

In the UK, Europe, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand LittleBigPlanet should start to appear in stores no later than the week commencing Monday 3rd November. The UK has confirmed that it should be available on the 5th and no later.

In Japan we understand from SCEI that our release date has not changed, it remains the 30th October.

Some of you have asked about pre-orders and early copies. Everything should remain as before - you will get your exclusive pre-order content, we?ll go on patching the game, and everything will work as if none of this had ever happened! I think in the end, everyone will be happy.

In the coming weeks until launch, as a way of saying thanks for your patience to our loyal MM readers, we?ll make sure we?ve got some great content on this site for you, so stay tuned!

Lots of people have asked us to switch on the beta again and we looked into it at length, but now that the delay to the game is only a week, it just wasn?t technically possible to get new keys out, bring back the servers, and so on. Besides, we?ve working on some cooler ways of connecting with you lot directly, that can include those who weren?t able to get beta keys.

Wherever you?re from, thanks so much for your patience on this slightly surreal turn of events! We will keep updating this post as we get any more news. Stay tuned! The ga:) isn?t far away now :)

Xxxx

Just a thought, but maybe sony also said no to patching because with a recall they can say

"oh, we sent you 1000 copys of the game but you sent back 950, where are the other 50? we are going to sue you for breaking the release date, have a nice day!"

Maybe you're on to something there. Maybe Sony knew about the song beforehand, saw that places were breaking street date, and the guy who made the post is really a SCEE employee, so that Sony could force a recall and expose the places that sold the game early.

Or is that too conspiracy theorist?

    • You can enable the Nova redesign in Firefox 152, under about:config
    • As long as Manifest v2 extensions keep working. I always enable compact mode from about:config. I hope I won't have to switch to LibreWolf or WaterFox anytime soon.
    • Threads scales past half a billion users, brings deeper community and feed controls by Fiza Ali Meta has announced Threads crossing a major milestone of 500 million monthly active users. And, at the heart of this growth sits something simple: communities. From books to basketball, parenting to music, Threads says its rise has been powered by people clustering around shared interests and, in turn, giving the platform its identity. In response, the platform is expanding its Communities feature beyond beta and introducing a set of new tools designed to make participation easier and more engaging. A redesigned Communities Hub will now appear in the main navigation menu, allowing users to jump between groups without leaving their feed. Each community will also receive a distinct Community Icon, giving them clearer visual identity and making them easier to recognise across the platform. Then there’s Community Progress, which is a kind of live gauge showing how close a topic is to becoming a full-fledged community, alongside guidance on how users can contribute to its development. In addition, Meta is also expanding its Community Champions programme, recognising more users who actively contribute to community engagement. And then things go more local; Local Communities is already available in 100 countries, including North America, South America, Asia, and Europe but are now rolling out with native-language tags starting in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. The platform is also expanding Live Chats to more communities in the coming weeks, adding features such as co-hosting and the ability to quote moments directly into users’ feeds. Beyond communities, Meta is tightening the loop between users and their feeds. Earlier this year came "Dear Algo," a feature that lets people tell Threads what they want more or less of. Now it’s being paired with a new tool, "Your Algo." It allows people to adjust how frequently certain topics appear, with options lasting one, three, or seven days. Meta says these preferences remain private and can be managed alongside “Dear Algo” in a unified settings hub. The rollout begins in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Finally, the company says these changes are part of an ongoing effort to refine Threads based on user feedback and that further updates will continue as the platform evolves.
