I am on the hunt for a good green tea to drink. So far the only one I can find is from Tim Hortons, but that is a hot green tea.

I am looking for a good green tea you can buy in stores and off shelves, and yet to find one I really enjoy. Anyone else here drink green tea?

I drink a good bit of tea, black, white, green and herbal.

I would honestly say try to find a place in your local town that sells loose teas. They are sooo much better. Just store them sealed in a dark place and use empty tea bags to steep the tea leaves in hot water. Trust me you will never go back!

You may have to ask around to find a place that sells them, but it will be worth it :}

Apparently drinking green tea may do wonders against prostrate cancer. I've seen articles for and against. The articles that said there was a benefit required you to drink about 5 cups per day (a typical coffee-style mug usually holds at least a cup and a half).

I found a reference to it:

I just had a tetley green tea, and it wasn't as good as I hoped. I was meaning to try the Liptons Green Tea for awhile, but I usually just drink Liptons Ice Tea, which is probably the best Iced Tea out there

I have been drinking a lot of green tea in the bottles lately. I initially started out drinking the non-diet green teas, then I noticed that the non-diet versions are totally pounded with carbs and sugars. Example, Lipton 20oz Green Tea with Citrus (entire 20oz bottle): 52.5g carbs, 52.5g sugar. My doctor flipped out. The diet version of that same green tea has 0g carbs, 0g sugar. Big difference esp. if your doctor has you watching your carb or sugar intake. I don't actually like the non-diet version taste anymore, I'm so used to the diet versions.

I got too caught up in the green tea is good for you hoopla initially and didn't think to check what else was going into these. Certainly read the labels!

Lipton makes a diet green tea with mixed berry, just became available where I am. Actually not too bad, IMO.

Well, I generally drink the generic off-the-shelf Twinnings green tea tea-bags. However I've got one or two other options. I've also got Green tea with a hint of Jasmine. They're from 'Double Dragon', and I get those through Holland & Barrett. either them or one of those general UK health shops. Likewise with the Green Tea & Lemongrass. They're branded Heath & Heather.

For when I've got a little more time, I've got loose-leaf tea too. I've got generic green tea. Gunpowder green, Celestial Jasmine, and Snowbuds. I'd highly recommend Loose-leaf over tea-bags. There's something much more satisfying about making / serving your own. All of my loose-leaf comes either from Whittards, or through the Truro Tea Company (in Cornwall)

I'm pretty sure thats all the green teas I have. There are LOADS of other types though. This is what happens when you date someone who likes their tea. ;)

Thanks for the references. (Y)

I'm a big tea drinker, but it's usually black tea, time to switch I think.

I'll second the Lipton's Iced Green Tea, it's probably my favourite of the green teas. Comes in 'light' too, if you need that kind of thing. Also a couple different flavours. The raspberry green tea is awesome.

Another is Arizona iced tea--whether you get the green tea or not, it's all good. I love their regular iced tea. The best part is, the big cans [700mL I think?] are only 99 cents apiece.

Lastly... The new Tetley iced teas aren't too bad, but I've only tried the pomegranate green tea flavoured oneand the regular black tea. I thought they were pretty good.

For the health benefits here's some information on Rooibos http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rooibos . If you're into your anti-oxidants this is the stuff!

It's also a lot less bitter and is caffeine free. And can also be used for skin conditions!

Sorry to sound like a Rooibos evangelist, i'll stop now :)

I am mostly looking for cold green teas to drink.

I did try the lipton green tea today, and loved it. It was like drinking ice tea, with a bit of green tea flavour.

We do get Arizona up here in Canada, and I was actually going to buy a bottle the other day, but some guy ahead of me grabbed the last one. I have always wondered what that Arizona taste like, and will pick up a bottle tomorrow.

I started drinking that Lipton iced tea this summer, figuring it was a better alternative than Coke. When I finally looked at the label a few weeks ago, I was really surprised to see that it has as much (or more?) sugar than soda. Guess I'll look for the light versions others here mentioned.

I recently started drinking this stuff, but it's more of a treat because it's fairly expensive.

    • Forza Horizon 6 gets big bug-fixing and balancing update by Taras Buria Today, Playground Games released a big Forza Horizon 6 update with a long list of fixes, patches, and balancing tweaks that the studio promised earlier. Version 375.327 is now available on Steam, Microsoft Store, and Xbox, offering users improvements for AI, audio, design, performance, road discovery, upgrades, visuals, online play, and more. Some of the most notable changes in the Series 2 update include rebalanced drivatars, particularly their difficulty and race start behavior. As such, the game should be more balanced on higher difficulty levels, and AI cars should not shoot out when the race starts as if they have rocket boosters. Speaking of difficulty, developers nerfed Drag Tires physics for a more expected and realistic behavior. They are no longer the go-to option for record-breaking times in road racing, and all leaderboard entries with drag tires will be removed. Completionists will also be glad to get a new feature that lets you see road discovery percentage in each region, which should make discovering all roads easier while keeping it quite challenging and interesting (I spent quite a long time finding the last road). Festival Playlist is also getting some much-needed fixes, including patches for bugs that allowed completing Seasonal Jobs ahead of time or where weekly challenges would not unlock for some players. Developers will retroactively give reward points to all who could not complete all challenges due to these bugs. Other changes include changes to Horizon Play progression so that it is easier to reach Level 100, audio improvements on lower-spec devices, fixes for visual glitches, including pixelated smoke, and more. Developers also addressed the currently non-working Eliminator, an online mode gamers used to farm credits with a Hummer EV exploit. Playground Games plans to re-enable it soon. As a gesture of goodwill, players will get a free McLaren Sabre. Those who used the exploit will not be banned, but developers plan to roll back credits to a maximum of 10M for all who farmed credits using the exploit. You can find the complete changelog for the latest Forza Horizon 6 update here.
