saw the trailer. Too much dark to cover empty spaces. Looks like a mexican matrix. Didnt like it, I wont spend a cent on this movie

So, I saw Tron Legacy tonight, and it was pretty good.. but not amazing, so please don't hurt me. lol ;)

You could definitely see the Disney stamp on it, it was a wee bit cheesy and Sam Flynn was at times a bit cliche and wooden..

having said that, the effects are stonking, i didn't realise from the trailers that young jeff bridges is clearly CGI (maybe a lot of people knew that already?), it's noticeable on the big screen but only due to some very very slight movement weirdness.. otherwise fantastic effort for the CGI peeps.

Story wise, it runs a long at a very quick pace, very quickly dumping you into the computer world.. I was expecting more of a slow buildup, but getting to the 'grid' is after all what we are all after.. so it was find with me :D

Umm... yeah so that's my mini review, 4/5 stars, the story could have been a bit 'deeper' with less of a cheesy end, but as i said, this is disney! :p

just saw it as well and thought it was graphically awesome. they definitely pulled some things from the original. and the vehicles are bad ass
