Stop with the damn reboots. Geesh, either get original or stop making stupid pathetic movies. I watched TRON in HD over the weekend and it needs not sequel.

Tron 2 has been in the works since the original got in to theaters after the success of it. and tron 2 looks like it will be good and has a good story to it

Dying to see this one as well. I saw the original wayyy back when it was new in the theaters. At the time, the effects were amazing (first of its kind), even though the movie itself is fairly cornball. Curious to see what they do with it; the visuals if anything look very impressive, and glad to see they got some of the original actors in it, especially Jeff Bridges and Bruce Boxleitner, wouldn't be the same without them.

Comic Con: The Original Tron Will Get A 3D Re-Release

It makes a lot of sense that since Tron: Legacy is a direct sequel to a movie which was released nearly 30 years ago and perhaps forgotten by mainstream audiences since then, that Disney might want a way to get the original film fresh in our minds. Today at the Tron: Legacy Comic Con panel Legacy director Joseph Koskinski confirmed that there are plans to re-release the 1982 Tron and what?s more, they may re-release it in 3D.

When asked if the original Tron would get a 3D re-release Kosinski responded this way: ?I think you cane expect to see the original Tron in some pretty exciting formats very soon.? Unless someone has recently invented the holodeck, that has to mean it?s coming in 3D, doesn?t it?
