That would be pretty cool for the Classix community if somebody could create one.

BTW, giga, know anything about a Classix 10k skin from art yet? Is he gonna do it?

Download for Classix has been moved to cc.xnyhilo.net, under the downloads section. The respective downloads are:

Classix - Thin Taskbar

Classix - Regular Taskbar

@Gigatexel, if you could update the links on the first post, the previous download location is going to be no more.

In other news, as if anyone would notice :shifty: , the Classix Mailing List is no more itself. There were some problems on the server and given the lack of activity and such involved with it, I decided it wasn't really worth the hassle fixing the problems or starting over. I have a feeling though that something will take its place in the near future for all flavors of Classix.

I don't want to read the whole 60 or some pages so if anyone can help I'll really appreciate it. I just installed SP2 and the theme will not work. I double clicked the .msstyles but it gave me the windows classic theme.

Is there a special version for SP2 or a new file that I need?

Thanks

you need to patch the uxtheme.dll again. since you installed sp2 it overwrite the patched uxtheme.dll from sp1 :)

This thread shouldn't have been bumped for this sort of question, but I guess if I had to pick an old thread to be bumped for no real reason, it would be this Classix thread. ;) And the links to Classix still work, bonus. :)

    • I noticed this was already happening within my organization; my teams location will change between remote and on-site without me having to do anything. Is it possible this is live already for select customers?
    • I wonder what it will show when I'm plugged in with my ethernet cable at home and not using WiFi.
    • While LibreOffice is not pleased to see a new competitor, they are absolutely correct in stating that Euro-Office using a MS file standard as a default is not being truly "European." Using a MS standard just means Euro-Office is just a "bastardized MS Office Suite." (Wasn't a major purpose of Euro-Office was to get away from being captive and enslaved to MS's Office Suite??)
    • Microsoft continues its long-term policy of spying on their users--despite vehement denials. That feature will be disabled (or removed) either "elegantly" with MS providing a true way to disable it, or "quick and dirty" via a third-party who WILL come up with a way to disable it. Your choice MS...
