is getting hard to please everyone with a theme like this :) some people likes the new start menu, other not, some likes the new start button, some not, we can make separate versions but then we are going to have a big problem...

btw Ryu7x, thats looks exellent, if you make skins for the other colors will be great

I was thinkg giga, we reached the point when we cant pleas everyone, so I was thinking about that faq, it needs to include an explanation of how to modify resources in stylebuilder, then we need to add my start button option and some other start menu options in the package in bmp format and release the final version of classix

that's a low quality jpg by the way, and also my idea for 'real logoff and shutdown buttons' refers to actual little icons that mean something.

ie: you don't just have little squares for glyphs for window controls (min, max, close) you have little icons. the logoff and shutdown buttons should have little icons and not just squares.

btw i like the new start panel.

I think I mentioned it earlier on, but an ideal, in my opinion, solution would be to simply release "mod packs". These would simply be the necessary BMP's and instructions necessary to perform the modification. This way you can release any modifications you come up with seperate from the actual theme (to an extent, the Start menu changes might be a bit much for some to do themselves).

Just an idea on a way to keep things going even after the base them is finalized (basically it already it is it seems, except for the new Start menu).

    • There is a lot of reasons not to use Edge but faster fixes and security updates is not one of them.
    • Can't reproduce. I installed Edge, went to neowin.net > accepted the cookie consent > used menu to go to forums, everything loads and I can browse around the forums. If you can't interact with the dialog on the forums for some reason, go to the main site and accept the cookie consent there? It is true that the site will not function properly until the cookie consent is accepted or rejected,. it's a legal requirement and I also know that certain VPN/ad blockers block it, which is a user related issue and not a neowin.net problem.   This is not our cookie consent dialog. Gotta love browser hijacking... /s Edit: this may be what Californians see, I will confirm with our consent provider.
