Copy Protection: The DVI/HDMI output is block

Recommended Posts

I got my PC working ion my TV and cable working fine for first/second month. I went away for the weekend and came back and no PC on HDMI 2.

PC can't detect TV. So I switch my cable box SA 8300HDC to hdmi 2 all menus work but no picture or sound. I get a message that says:

COPY PROTECTION: THE DVI/HDMI OUTPUT IS BLOCK press exit to cancel

I then get a DVI ALERT: Your HDTV does not support HDCP. Please disconnect your HDMI connector and use the YPrPB connectoir to continue watching TV.

However HDMI 1 works fine any ideas?

Update: Cable company is stumped but Magnavox is shipping me a new TV should get it in 7-10 days.

I still like to know how this happen like I said everything was fine Thursday when I left. Then I came home last night and this is what happen. I am thinking my PC might have something to do with it.
