KrAzY Posted March 10, 2003 Share Posted March 10, 2003 Ok, I have Windows XP and a keep my Start Bar on the left side of the screen. My Start Bar when Unhidden takes up from about 1/8 - 1/6 of the screen. This becomes real annoying when you are working on something and then an application tries to take focus and flashes in the Start Bar. This happens a majority of the time, with Instant Messaging programs (ICQ, MSN, AIM). If I am in the middle of something I would like to come to a stopping point and then answer the Instant Message, or open the Application that has just opened. Now I ave tried using, TweakUI and I found some values in the registry, but changing them doesn't seem to do anything. Key: HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop - ForegroundFlashCount and ForegroundLockTimeout .; If anyone can help or give me some suggestions I would appreciate it.
