mAcOdIn Veteran Posted March 11, 2003 Veteran Share Posted March 11, 2003 If you go to http://www.download.com and do a search for Shockwave the have the full install that you can download and run. I used it and shockwave works fine on my XP computer
edmoss
Thanks ive tried this and I still get the same message that some of the files are missing! I cant help thinking im missing somthing obvious. Tried restart and revisitng macromedias own download. The first message is to restart and then it says that the files are missing do I want to repair them if I say yes then Im back at the macromedia download if I say no then nothing happens. Works fine on the same machine in 2000 but not XP! any further thoughts?
mAcOdIn Veteran Posted March 11, 2003 Veteran Share Posted March 11, 2003 Nah, I'm clueless now. I can't see why it wouldn't work for you, just used the shockwave installer this week on my xp machine. Nor do I know how it can be missing the files, being that its the whole package.
