Finding Nemo is one of my favorites, but I was lukewarm on the Incredibles, and hated Cars. I thought Ratatouille was good, not great. I still haven't seen Wall-E, but I have really high hopes for it, based on the premise and the feedback I've heard on it. Hopefully it will restore my faith in pixar after a big string of 'meh' and get me more excited about the next one.

FWIW, I didn't like cars, found incredibles only "ok" and finding nemo the best of the bunch (haven't seen ratatouille though).

I wasn't expecting much for Wall-E, in fact I no expectations at all, but I loved Wall-E, story and content was great the very little dialog was great too because I was taking my young cousins to see it and they barely speak english, so they were able to understand it easily. By far the best animated film I've seen.

I thought Cars was one of the worst. Here is my top 3 recent Pixar movies. Keep in mind I haven't seen Wall E yet

1) Monster Inc

2) Finding Nemo

3) Incredibles

Cars was pretty good. I liked it on par with INcredibles. I don't really hate any one Pixar movie.

I really wasn't a fan of The Incredibles, it just felt incredibly boring. Cars didn't start out too good either, but it won me over in the end.

+1 (must be a jock thing)

Gimme Monsters Inc or Finding Nemo any day over the incredible (bores)

Its pretty clear now that Pixar are animated movie Gods. If this is only half as good as Wall-E it will be a masterpiece. And the trailer looks pretty damn good.

Films such as Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, Toy Story are bound to be remembered for lifetimes. And still brilliant films yet not as 'legendary' - Bug's Life, Cars and the Incredibles cement that place.

And I just realised there will be another Toy Story. Yippeee!

Man, every time Pixar puts a movie out, my wife and I are simply amazed at the detail of each scene. We haven't seen Wall-E yet, but it is currently under the tree, so we'll be seeing it soon, but that teaser perked my interest for sure!

Wow this looks great! I love Pixar movies. They really have the market cornered with this style of movie..Soem of you put your favorites, but I didn't see A Bugs Life or Finding Nemo, those were both good films too. However, Wall-E is just amazing! And on blu-ray its jaw dropping..

You surely need to see Wall-E. They really were able to take a story and add so much with the imagery and visuals! After being so amazed, I have nothing but this eager anticipation for UP!

Here is another adorable image from the movie. I am just so impressed with how clear the image is. How do they do that?! Gotta love Pixar.

Now I have and I absolutely love it. Pixar shines at making the lifeless full of life, and WALL-E is their latest greatest achievement.

    • Anthropic pulls Fable 5 and Mythos 5 after US export control order by Pradeep Viswanathan In April this year, Anthropic launched the Claude Mythos Preview frontier model with state-of-the-art cyber and coding capabilities for a select set of companies around the world. After preparing appropriate guardrails, early this week, Anthropic launched Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5, its most capable AI models. Claude Fable 5 is for general users and comes with strict safeguards, while Mythos 5 is designed with fewer safeguards for cybersecurity and biology use cases. Today, Anthropic abruptly suspended access to its Fable 5 and Mythos 5 AI models for all customers after receiving an export control directive from the US government. The company received the directive from the government today at 5:21 p.m. ET, and the received letter did not provide any details regarding the national security concern. Anthropic understands that the government became aware of a method to bypass, or “jailbreak,” Fable 5, which might be the reason behind the directive. The order was issued under national security authorities and requires the company to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether they are inside or outside the United States. The restriction also applies to foreign national employees working at Anthropic. As a result, the company has disabled both models for all customers to ensure compliance. Access to previous Anthropic models like Opus and Sonnet is not affected by this government order. The company highlighted that it had developed strong safeguards to reduce the possibility that Fable is misused for tasks related to cybersecurity. In fact, many developers are complaining that the safeguards are going overboard. Additionally, the company worked with the US government, the UK AISI, multiple private third-party organizations, and internal teams to red-team Fable’s safeguards for thousands of hours. Finally, Anthropic noted that no testers have yet been able to find a universal jailbreak on Fable 5. As expected, Anthropic disagrees that a narrow potential jailbreak should lead to the recall of a commercial model used by hundreds of millions of people. It warned that applying this standard across the AI industry could effectively halt new frontier model deployments. Anthropic concluded by mentioning that it is working to restore access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 as soon as possible and plans to share more details within the next 24 hours.
