There are many awesome clips, it is hard to keep up. I can keep re-watching them over and over again. Have you guys seen this one called "Discovering a Lost World"?

How clever that the balloons are coming out of the chimney! By just watching this clip, I have already fallen in love with Carl! His grumpy nature is so oddly lovable too! It is like you empathize with him. It is also really cool how they pan from the original trip to South America to the South America in the movie. Pixar keeps raising the bar for even itself!

New Upisode

I loved this weeks one!

I felt that the clip was a little predictable, but it ended up completely having me laughing out loud by the end. These clips are awesome. I kept thinking the movie was coming out in such a long time, but May is just around the corner now! I can't wait!

That is what I love about Pixar and UP in particular! Pixar can make an animated film that adults and children can all enjoy equally. The story is undoubtedly going to be entertaining and hilarious and the visuals will be so crisp and clear! What else could you ask for in a film? I feel like a kid again since I am anxiously awaiting this movie. :) Little over a month until May 29th.

Attached to Pixar's Up this summer is their newest short film Partly Cloudy, directed by Peter Sohn, a Pixar animator and the voice of Emile in Ratatouille. Ain't It Cool News has debuted the first official photo from the short today and it looks as wonderful as any Pixar film. Everyone knows that the stork delivers babies, but where do the storks get the babies from? The answer lies up in the stratosphere, where cloud people sculpt babies from clouds and bring them to life. Partly Cloudy is about Gus, a lonely and insecure grey cloud, who is a master at creating "dangerous" babies like crocodiles, porcupines, and rams…

As Gus's creations become more and more rambunctious, his loyal delivery stork partner, Peck, must work harder and harder. How will Peck manage to handle both his hazardous cargo and his friend's fiery temperament? That other photo at the very top that I snuck in comes from another earlier first look at Partly Cloudy (via SlashFilm). I know a lot of people said that the short Presto attached to Wall-E last year was one of the best Pixar shorts ever, although my favorite will always be For the Birds. Again, Partly Cloudy will shown in front of Up in theaters on May 29th, though I'm not sure if it will also be in 3-D.

Finding Nemo is one of my favorites, but I was lukewarm on the Incredibles, and hated Cars. I thought Ratatouille was good, not great. I still haven't seen Wall-E, but I have really high hopes for it, based on the premise and the feedback I've heard on it. Hopefully it will restore my faith in pixar after a big string of 'meh' and get me more excited about the next one.

Finding Nemo is still my favorite, mainly because the underwater dynamics are visually stunning. Wall-E falls into a close second though, and I think you'll enjoy it.

Edit: Just noticed you posted this back in August and I'm sure you've seen it by now. :D

I am with you Victor Rambo! I can't wait to see the whole movie. It is going to be awesome. I am just basing my prediction on my love for these clips. The characters look hilarious, the story looks so charming and the visuals are just breath-taking. I am counting down till the end of May!! I do have to commend Pixar for releasing so many clips since I do enjoy them. I don't mind seeing a new one every week! :)

The Hollywood Reporter: ?Winsome, touching and arguably the funniest Pixar effort ever, the gorgeously rendered, high-flying adventure is a tidy 90-minute distillation of all the signature touches that came before it.?

Roger Ebert: ?this is a wonderful film. It tells a story? [Director Peter Docter's] whole film is an oblique rebuke to those who think action heroes have to be young.?

Time: Extending the patented Pixar mix of humor and heart, Up is the studio?s most deeply emotional and affecting work.

I saw the first 45 minutes of the film a few months ago and I?m dying to see the second half. Dying. Up is going to be my fave Pixar movie ever, I just know it!

I loved those images! So glad you added them. They are so clear and how cute was the one with Carl and his wife! (I am assuming, it looks like a "younger" Carl.) I read those reviews too online earlier today and man, I am so excited! I had this feeling that this movie would be the best of all the Pixar films to date and I think I will be right. I read the movie is emotional, but that just means there is real depth and heart to it. I think it is going to be a great movie experience for an audience of all ages!

    • Anthropic pulls Fable 5 and Mythos 5 after US export control order by Pradeep Viswanathan In April this year, Anthropic launched the Claude Mythos Preview frontier model with state-of-the-art cyber and coding capabilities for a select set of companies around the world. After preparing appropriate guardrails, early this week, Anthropic launched Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5, its most capable AI models. Claude Fable 5 is for general users and comes with strict safeguards, while Mythos 5 is designed with fewer safeguards for cybersecurity and biology use cases. Today, Anthropic abruptly suspended access to its Fable 5 and Mythos 5 AI models for all customers after receiving an export control directive from the US government. The company received the directive from the government today at 5:21 p.m. ET, and the received letter did not provide any details regarding the national security concern. Anthropic understands that the government became aware of a method to bypass, or “jailbreak,” Fable 5, which might be the reason behind the directive. The order was issued under national security authorities and requires the company to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether they are inside or outside the United States. The restriction also applies to foreign national employees working at Anthropic. As a result, the company has disabled both models for all customers to ensure compliance. Access to previous Anthropic models like Opus and Sonnet is not affected by this government order. The company highlighted that it had developed strong safeguards to reduce the possibility that Fable is misused for tasks related to cybersecurity. In fact, many developers are complaining that the safeguards are going overboard. Additionally, the company worked with the US government, the UK AISI, multiple private third-party organizations, and internal teams to red-team Fable’s safeguards for thousands of hours. Finally, Anthropic noted that no testers have yet been able to find a universal jailbreak on Fable 5. As expected, Anthropic disagrees that a narrow potential jailbreak should lead to the recall of a commercial model used by hundreds of millions of people. It warned that applying this standard across the AI industry could effectively halt new frontier model deployments. Anthropic concluded by mentioning that it is working to restore access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 as soon as possible and plans to share more details within the next 24 hours.
