Shame on me :unsure:

I was shaking my head ;)

My goodness! That Comic-Con trailer was amazing. It felt like Stargate kicked into overdrive.

Totally right? Originally I was really skeptical, because it sounded a little too similar to ST:Voyager, but it's gearing up to be just a bit awesome.

Why? That's what stargate is about exploring new planets and beating some enemy. That's my I loved SG1 and liked Atlantis, if you don't like that then why are you watching it.

The second trailer confirmed they are doing something drstically different, not sure if I am going to like it. Cautiously optimistinc though. Is there actually a main baddie or is the whole show about getting back to earth?

You dont understand what i mean, im a huge SG-1 fan i have s1-10 box set and i have the films on dvd and blu-ray, i have Atlantis S1-4 box sets.

I was just annoyed at Atlantis because it had so much promise exploring the Alterans and what did they do they made it into an SG-1 Clone.

Oneill = Sheppard

Carter = Mckay

Teal'c = Ronon

Daniel = Teyla

Doc Frasier = Beckett

Hammond = Wier

SGC = Atlantis

Goa'uld = Wraith

Then they went and brought back the god awful Replicators. But for the most part i enjoyed much of atlantis but it was a bit of a let down, this time around though it looks like they are trying to do something different rather than just another clone and thats what im excited about most.

Yeah, she's alright, I was very much aware of Teyla's expanding bust during pregnancy though, even though she wasn't the hottest of ladies.

I was rewatching Children of the Gods last night and Shau'ri got her norks out. I forgot about that, pert!

Its gone from the 'Final Cut' edition.

lol yeah that totally confused me when I saw that episode uncut for the first time. I thought Stargate was a family show, I guess they didn't plan for it to be that way.

The director cut of that episode which JUST came has had that scene removed. although some other stuff was added and effects improved.

Totally! :D I can't wait for the new jokes, new baddies, new everything. Did you notice how crisp and amazing the special effects were? They're going all out with this series.

It's weird, if you consider he spent most of the series bald, but I think it does suit him.

I'm currently on Series 6 now, it's good that I have all 10 seasons, so I can be totally SG'd ready for SG:U

Don't forget the two movies: Stargate: The Ark of Truth and Stargate: Continuum.

The Ark of Truth I felt was a little disappointing, but Continuum was alright I guess.

Want to see what they make of the possible new movie plans. As much as the original movie was awesome and all, Stargate really came alive when it transitioned to TV. A new movie would just confuse, and possible infuriate some hardcore fans.

Although, Stargate in IMAX would be unreal!

Man that trailer was so overly dramatic ... that's just not what Stargate is about ... I sense failure.

That is the point, they don't want Universe to be like the other series! it's a darker, character driven series and basically all that ties it to SG-1 and Atlantis is the Stargate (obviously :p) and cameo appearances from characters from the previous series. Universe is a whole new direction (and gamble) for the SG franchise, it's a big risk as it has upset quite a few of the hardcore fans. However, myself (a big fan of SG, not quite hardcore though :p) am looking forward to it and will view it with an open mind and give it a fair go :) (Y)

People should stop comparing this to anything else that's Stargate. This is to be completely different from anything else about Stargate.

Which was just said, but I agree. At first time watching trailer I was like WTF, made no sense, but quickly figured out what they were doing with it.

    • Microsoft confirms Recycle Bin bug across all versions of Windows by Usama Jawad A couple of days ago, we reported that the latest Patch Tuesday update has seemingly resulted in a lot of issues for many users, including OneDrive and Dropbox access problems, BitLocker recovery lockouts, and BSODs. Although Microsoft is yet to acknowledge these bugs, it has confirmed another, relatively smaller issue across all supported versions of Windows. In an update on its Windows Release Health Dashboard, Microsoft has confirmed that after installing June's Patch Tuesday update (KB5094126), you'll experience unexpected behavior when leveraging Recycle Bin. Basically, when you attempt to delete an item from the Recycle Bin, the confirm dialog will show you the internal file name of that content rather than the actual name. For example, the file may be named abc.png, but the confirm dialog will ask if you're sure that you want to permanently delete $Rxxxxx.png from the Recycle Bin. This is pretty much it for the scope of the bug itself; it just displays the wrong name in the confirm dialog. The correct name will be shown in the list view of the Recycle Bin and if you restore the file, it will return with the correct name as well. This issue affects pretty much all supported versions of Windows client and server, including: Client: Windows 11, version 26H1; Windows 11, version 25H2; Windows 11, version 24H2; Windows 11, version 23H2; Windows 10, version 22H2; Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021; Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019; Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2016 Server: Windows Server 2025; Windows Server 2022; Windows Server 2019; Windows Server 2016; Windows Server 2012 R2; Windows Server 2012 As things currently stand, Microsoft is working on a concrete solution that will be released in a "future" Windows update. It remains to be seen if the firm will wait till the next Patch Tuesday or roll out an out-of-band (OOB) fix. The good news is that commercial customers can deploy a workaround right now, but they will have to reach out to Microsoft Support for Business for additional details.
    • They said by this time everyone will have flying cars. WELL...
    • A study by physicist Henry Tye of Cornell University suggests that the universe may not expand forever. Instead, it could eventually stop expanding, begin contracting and end in a "Big Crunch" roughly 20 billion years from now. Maybe not as we now know that time can flow backwards.
    • Of course. Simply reverse the polarity.
    • It is clear from this aricle that "Time Is On My Side" no matter which direction it is flowing., https://noai.duckduckgo.com/?i...m%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DsEj8lUx0gwY
