Sparknotes:

Well. I told myself going into college I'd never drink. First party, first night. I drink one beer.

story: My girlfriend of 2 weeks and I went on a river boat cruise/dance for 2 hours tonight with all the other freshman. She talked with me for maybe 5 minutes, and chatted with her girlfriends for the rest of the time. She didn't want to leave the group or anything, and didn't want to dance. She disappeared while I was talking with one of my buddies, and I figured she'd text me after a few minutes. She didnt. So I left with my buddies, went to some ones house and I figured what the hell and had a beer. I feel better already.

I think I'll wait until morning and see if she calls or something. If not, whatever, I'll find a way to bring it up.

One beer? That's all? and you just had to post about it. Lucky you, I can't remember when

Welcome to Manhood anyway, oh wait... are you even legal drinking age? Not that I give a f*** or anything, it's your life, live it as you see fit. But seeing as your just out of High School (18'ish or so) i'll guess not.

Have a few more and you'll feel even better... until the morning

She blew you off dude, move on. If she gave you her number, it's likely not the right one, so don't be surprised when she doesn't answer. :p

come on guys, it was his first beer ever lol.

As for those making remarks about it, I have beer in my fridge that would crush any of you with just 1 bottle. I've never been at a college party with beer that costs about $150 a case. I'm sure it's not what he had to drink, but still.

Everyone responds differently to alcohol.

Yeah seriously all, go easy. A First Beer can be a big deal, especially when you do not imagine yourself every having one.

Sure, some of us have our first beer at 12 not to have one again until later on (okay, 15) and some wait until they are in college, but it is still a pretty big deal as it is the first beer.

With that said, I cannot wait to read the thread about your first experience with hard liquor, as 90% of the times it is never a pretty one.

LOL, this is the biggest joke surely?

Your GF skanks you off, you go to a party and have ONE beer and you feel better?

ONE beer!!!??? That's not enough to affect a 10 year old!

Sheesh!

Don't be so harsh, one beer is a lot when it's your first beer, no matter how old you are.

    • Nice rant! Expletive after expletive after expletive. Poor petal, I've touched a nerve. Would you like a tissue to wipe those tears away. Btw, nice one calling Neowin trash. Why would you stick around when you disrespect this site and the people behind it? Just go away if you feel that way.

    • This is of course "clickbait" WTF? It is literally your example but tech based. A "clickbait" title is a sensationalized headline designed to manipulate readers into clicking a link using things like "fear" rather than delivering objective facts. A "clickbait" headline also usually provides little value compared to the hype generated. How does this headline not qualify? It's a generic often reused headline that is overly sensationalized. Oh no! "millions" can't use this app anymore. It has no basic facts like what f*cking app. You read the article and it's the Samsung VPN which no one cares about and there is a million free VPNs. How are you defending this ######? Headlines like this (and among other things) make me read Neowin much less than I used to in the past. It's trash...
