Man, It's your choice but you're missing a thing. :D

ehh, I've probably drank more than 90% of the people I know. It's really not that great. It loses it's fun quickly. Plus it makes you feel like **** too often. There are many things that are much better than alcohol. Don't get me wrong. I still drink, but nowhere near as much as I used to when I was in college.

Dogfish Head Beer. World Wide Stout and the 120 Minute IPA are both ~20%. They vary each year when they are released.

They have a ton of different beer. http://www.dogfish.com/brewings/

I'm glad to see that at least one other person here appreciates good beer. :) I think I have two or three bottles of the 120 minute in my cellar right now. Have you had any beer from Michigan's microbreweries?

You're right, but you USED to drink that much. When the fun part goes away you stop.

+1 on this. I used to drink epicly, and as a result, had some real adventures, and many a night hugging the toilet. Now I'm a bit older though I hate overdoing it. I'll have about 5 in a night at most now, and I have a great time without the hangovers.

My view on it now is that if you need that much alcohol to have a good night out, you're doing it wrong.

Congrats on your first beer! I bet you that won't be the last!

P.S. If you want some hairs on your chest, see if you can find some Stroh. This stuff gives me the giggles

Was it real beer or American beer? I had my first can of beer when I was about 4. I used to drink Bass shandy back then too  I had my first pint when I was about 12.

To the OP: why would you decide not to drink when going to college? Enjoying fine alcoholic drinks is not the same as binge drinking. If you decide not to get drunk ever then that is very respectable... but there's no reason to not enjoy beer.

Similar to a melonball

2 oz Midori? melon liqueur

1 oz vodka

pineapple juice or orange juice

Pour the melon liqueur and vodka into an ice-filled highball glass. Fill with pineapple juice, or orange juice.

    • It is when it's a desktop in my house though for a PC that's lightly used and not really important when it is. If it was a laptop, it would be a different story. The real solution is varied and begins starting at post #22 in that thread.
