Maryland Teacher Charged With Giving Students Cocaine

God I really hate reading these kinda threads that burst into flames like this.

I think the problem is that everyone forms their own ideologies about drugs, what's right and what's wrong. What's good and bad. Everyone forms their own opinion because they don't really know who to trust other than themselves. They base these opinions on experiences that they've had and such.

But for the most part-I'm with njlouch here ;) (I don't approve of taking coke though-not something I want to start).

Its idiotic because the truth hurts doesn't it?

No it's idiotic because it's a 100% invalid comparison. 1ounce of coke and 1ounce of weed are not comparible - you do them in different quantities, you buy them in different quantities, they are different strengths. Your comparison is 100% flawed.

Its killing you slowly inside.

No, see - you're wrong again.

Anyhow, my exprience is:

Alcohol - the worst drug I have ever taken. Am I addicted? Socially yes - I like to drink when others are. Has it harmed me - yes.

Cigarettes - I am a social smoker, but after 3 I get a little dizzy and no more.

Weed/solid - Used to smoke a lot, and kinda liked getting a bit high, but I abused it. Would smoke and drive, then end up sat staring at traffic lights for 20 mins. Also eventually it made me more paranoid.

Cocaine - i will do a gram or two on a BIG night out. Not up the pub or round a mates, but a "big megga, let's get messy and see what we do" night out. This used to be about twice a month, now probably more like once a quarter. I've never done anything stupid on it, it's never got me into trouble, I can take it or leave it - but if I want it and have the cash handy, then fair play.

And now I am out of here, as there are too many people arguing points they have never experience or know anything about.

Numb and stoned? What kind of ****ty ass weed do you smoke?

When I smoke, I feel relaxed yet happy and energetic.

Its killing you slowly inside.

Ban coke, free weed.

well, it's super skunk with red hair

not that i had much to choose from here :(

i had this same attitude you have when i was struggling to quit speed. it turned me into somewhat pro-weed ban-everything else junkie :], it helped to quit, but. it's not like weed is all that harmless. well, it is harmless. it's harm lies in it beeing so harmless, i can smoke everyday and not have any valid reason not to. bad or not, clear mind FTW

What? You're gibbering like a mad man, sure you haven't dropped?

it escapes me why people are so casual about doing drugs here. to each his own for sure, but it's pretty sad really.

Because alcohol is a legal drug (that can kill you) and weed isnt (it can't kill you). Thats why.

Yes but 1 ounce of weed will get you high and a ounce of coke will mess you up, making you look all drugged up and under certain conditions, might kill you. It is not flawed and it is only you thats avoiding the hurtful truth.

Alcohol (if weed is banned) should be illegal because it can kill you. Period. It does nothing good.

Cigs are stupid yet it can't kill you (directly).

Weed is the best thing as it gets you relaxed and takes away stress and cannot kill you.

Coke can and will kill you.

End of thread.

I've never seen anyone die from Coke. I'm speaking about Crack Cocaine. You get about a five minute high that's described as "better than sex" by some folk I know.

A lot of FUD has been spread about by the various authorities and media to scare people about drugs. And half of it is pure fraud.

I've personally never done any hard drugs. The closest was unknowingly smoking a joint that was laced with PCP. That effectively ended my drug use, Marijuana was getting dangerous.

I consider Alcohol more dangerous than Crack. Just imagine how many families lives and children that could have been saved if Prohibition had been permanent. 42% of vehicle deaths in the state of Alabama alone. Alcohol kills more people every year than the Flu. And that number will rise.

There's talk about lowering the drinking age but people forget why it was raised. It was raised because of the outrageous deaths that were occurring. Raising that drinking age, lowered the death rate.

How easy we forget. See you Later.

Wow, you are comparing tea with cocaine?

Sorry, but as a user - that does make me smile! LOL - thanks :)

"During the euphoric period after cocaine use, which can last up until 30 minutes, user will experience hyperstimulation, reduced fatigue, and mental alertness.

During a cocaine binge, when the drug is taken repeatedly, users may experience increasing restlessness ... For some users this can lead to ... auditory hallucinations and a disconnection with reality."

When cocaine users stop using cocaine, or when they end a cocaine binge, they immediately experience a "crash" which includes depression, fatigue, lack of pleasure, anxiety, irritability, sleepiness and a strong craving for more cocaine."

^ Yep -- matches my experiences with strong Lipton tea. :D

I should brew up a pitcherful and enter God-mode

Again it does not make you feel good; Thats what your brain thinks.

So you are saying there is 2 parts to the body? The brain and feelings? I always thought the brain controlled how you feel. Silly me.

Come to mention is there are seperate parts to the body, the brain and the talk for example.

Right brain! Click post!

My brain isnt listening to me! :(

My brain doesnt feel too good, Im going to take an aspirin on its behalf.

Guys just leave it, this Zape dude clearly has no clue - his description of weed is vague and seems based upon what he has heard, and his description of coke seems to be based upon like propaganda cartoons or such.

A little life experience never goes amiss...

    • TeraCopy 4.0 Build 28 by Razvan Serea TeraCopy is a compact program designed to copy and move files at the maximum possible speed, also providing you with a lot of features. Copy files faster. TeraCopy uses dynamically adjusted buffers to reduce seek times. Asynchronous copy speeds up file transfer between two physical hard drives. Pause and resume transfers. Pause copy process at any time to free up system resources and continue with a single click. Error recovery. In case of copy error, TeraCopy will try several times and in the worse case just skips the file, not terminating the entire transfer. Interactive file list. TeraCopy shows failed file transfers and lets you fix the problem and recopy only problem files. Shell integration. TeraCopy can completely replace Explorer copy and move functions, allowing you work with files as usual. TeraCopy is free for non-commercial use only. For commercial use you need to buy a license. The paid version of the program includes the following features: Copy/move to your favorite folders. Save reports as HTML and CSV files. Select files with the same extension/folder. Remove the selected files from the copy queue. Features added since version 3.17: Enhanced speed graph. New multi-threaded copy engine. Support for copying to multiple targets. Queue system for managing multiple copy operations. Support for receiving files via the LocalSend protocol. TeraCopy entry in the modern Windows Explorer context menu. Integrated toolbar in the title bar. Why receive LocalSend transfers with TeraCopy? Handle file conflicts: Skip, overwrite, or rename files when a file with the same name already exists. LocalSend always creates another copy, which can waste time and disk space, especially when resuming an interrupted transfer. Filter unwanted files: Apply ignore lists or remove files manually before accepting a transfer, so unnecessary files are not downloaded. Better performance on fast networks: In tests over a 10 Gbps connection, TeraCopy received files several times faster than the standard LocalSend app on Windows. TeraCopy 4.0 Build 28 changelog: Fixed a bug where Overwrite behaved as Overwrite All during same-drive move operations. AdvancedInstaller fixed the installer’s security vulnerability: EXE Bootstrapper resolved the %appdata% location incorrectly for the System account.
