It's your choice, of course. May I ask why you chose that computer, instead of the Gateway?

I would pick the Gateway if I only had to chose between the two.

Reasons: Better GPU. Better CPU. Better ver of Vista. Gateway is at least a "brand name".

In all honesty, I would build my own PC. The first one I built, I was 15. It was a Pentium 75. If I did it back then with NO training, anyone should be able to.
