Thats my stance on such a joke too. If I don't think the jokes funny why on Earth would I want to go and view their back catalogue for god knows how long to come back to this one and likely still feel it's unfunny. I really fail to see what insight one would gain from viewing their other material anyway. It's not like I haven't watched every Yahtzee episode so if this joke doesn't stand on it's own two feet I think it's just a dud joke, regardless of what any fans of the series may think.

Theres plenty of comic stips, tv shows ect that have continuity between episodes but still don't require you to have watched them to enjoy the humor. *shrug*
