Google Chrome Browser

This browser is insanely fast and renders everything mad quick. Loading pages is such a snap!

I really like this browser alot and for the fact of the technology it uses. I sat there and read all those Google comics lol. :s

Doug Funny! Wow, it's been a while :p

I forgot which show that was from.. what is it called "Doug"?

This webkit artical on neowin is a bunch of hogwash imo, google knows better enough than to use an exploitable engine.

LOL I used to watch that show all the time :p

Where is porkchop? And quailman or was it quailboy?

porkchop was his dog, and it's quailman lol. patty mayonnaise was his crush and skeeter was the best, and the Dinks or something were his neighbor lol.

doug > chromium :p

yup, and I thought neowin should know better that the carpet bombing exploit has NOTHING to do with the webkit engine. It's the UI shell that decides how to handle file downloads. WebKit is just a rendering engine. I wouldn't be surprised that something like zdnet was too stupid to tell the difference, but neowin really should do better.

Hopefully you won't need them either! Maybe it will be fully featured like Opera

Somehow I highly doubt it. Google is a web service company, not a browser vendor like Opera and Mozilla, nor an OS vendor like Microsoft, I bet they'd want all those features in the "cloud", instead of on the client side. Why integrate mail reader and RSS reader into the client, when you have gmail and google reader?

Yeah the update has fixed the :% thing. I have to say that I am loving Chrome, I use a Hosts file and Homer to serve up images to replace blocked content instead of ad-block and I am a happy bunny.

What is interesting is just how many ppl are hesitant to do away with ad-block, it must be a real eye opener to Google and will give them something to think about.

I disable adblock on neowin because it has unobtrusive ads, but so many sites these days have like 1/5 of the page as content and the rest all ****ing flash ads it's ridiculous I just can't stand it.
