Google has finally released first beta of picasa 3.. :woot:

It now has a "separate" picture viewer, ?name tag? and more..

haven't seen change log yet..

OMFG!!!! I just used the viewer for the first time. It blends so damn well into vista it's amazing. I usually don't attach anything to my posts but this deserves it!!!!

I hope they fixed the sharing of pictures stored on a network for multiple PC's using them! (like shared settings, modifications and what not!)

I agree, i never liked Picasa before but thought I would give it a shot since I like their Chrome browser. Picasa3 is actually the bomb! Its good to see companies blending new apps with Vista. It's about bloody time lol! Chrome and Picasa3 I give thumbs up.

Just playing with it some more, using arrow keys left n right to go to next n previous pics in folder, and it even keeps the sort order! sorted by modified date, and it keeps the order when flipping through em, and veryy good quality zoom, I LOVE the separate photo viewer!

I like it... but seriously only allowing us to blog pictures to Blogger?? Why not let us choose what blogging engine we use. Like blooger, wordpress, etc.

Since Picasa can use plugins look for one that uploads to other blogging engines on google.
