Can I play Metroid Prime 3 on Wii with my GameCube controller?

I've finally got my hands on Wii and I'm playing through Metroid. Sadly, I'm not taking too well to the Wiimote for aiming. I'm a bit too jittery.

So I was wondering if it's possible to play Metroid Prime 3 with the GameCube controller on the Wii?

I don't think so, but isn't it possible to turn down the sensitivity (either on the Wii menu or in MP3)? This may help :)

yeah, the wii controls totally make this game. try and turn down the sensitivity.

You can also turn off "lock-on free aiming" to go back to MP1 & MP2 lock on target shooting.
