LiThIuM
i'm way new to the whole linux scene, and i'm looking for something as close to the modded one i posted forever ago for windows. is a blue glossy vs, based off of the human theme from ubuntu. something like THIS. any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance! i have looked at a couple sites, but can't seem to find what i'm looking for, plus there's not a whole lot of screen shots showing the theme in action. using the default gnome interface right now, as kde4 is acting up when it comes to networking atm.
pandaman
I'm guessing you have already tried: http://www.gnome-look.org/ http://www.kde-look.org/ They have screenshots of the different themes in action, be patient and I guess you may find something to your likeing...KDE looks nicer in opinion but you can get nice themes for gnome too, but if its acting up, best fix it first then try KDE. The2
Isn't this default ubuntu theme with blue color scheme?
LiThIuM
Isn't this default ubuntu theme with blue color scheme? yes and no. it looks like the regular theme, but i have no option to change the color from the default orange to blue without changing the theme from human to something else. oh yeah, the networking issue was with my windows machine, not the lappy. doin the whole internet connection sharing thing, is a pain sometimes, lol. Double-D
make it custom, select human window border, and change the first "selected items" color to whatever youd like i forgot to mention you have to restart gnome (ctrl+alt+backspace) for the changes to take place (a bit annoying)
