You need to be a subscriber to see it. One time my thread got moved to "Thread Grave Yard" but there isn't any user link to it, only a mod link :p

Content that isn't PG-13 cannot stay in the public areas.

We don't get "pron", we get to to admire a good portion of the female body and discuss it. :p

Of course as mentioned there are also other things besides that that can't be kept in the public part of the forum that we have there.

Members Metropolis is protected from guests and search engines but our 13 year old members can still wander in there and get hopelessly lost in pile of teenage sexual angst. We still want to limit that language that they hear and the content of what they see.

I wouldn't call it Back Stage Pass, but "Rappy's Hard Drive" LOL

We have given enough away already, I think what happens in BSP, stays in BSP :)

I can just see the amount of subscribers going up now :p

what stops a 13yr old getting a subscriber account brought for them......

I can list a few reasons why Neowin is secured against this.

1) it says you must be 18 (i think) years or older, OR with parents permission.

- Parents should know what their kids are browsing on the internet at all times.

2) there is a thread inside BSP, telling people that is not safe for work usage.

also, what stops a 13 year old from disabling the google preference filter, and surfing the images? Samething, only ours is more tasteful :)

      I'm not aware of this issue, but to help the other guys.  What version of Android are you using? Did you try a different browser? To see if Edge is the issue here.

      I disagree; they come off very "bitchy" and "whiny". Make a great product and combine that with a great price (free) and people will come over to your side. Or build it and they will come as they say. Constantly trying to get attention by complaining all the time, will turn people off to your product.

      It use to be a nightmare, with LibreOffice supporting a newer draft ODF standard by default, and Microsoft Office supporting the older non-draft standard. Now that they both support the same version of ODF, they should be interoperable.
