xbox 360 problems

Hey, i was having problems with my charge and play set and i picked up my xbox while it was on and it has now scratched the disk and left a big mark around the center of the disk. The disk was "Call of duty 4". and no when i go in games like S&D it does say " search and destroy, defend the objective!" what can i do to sort this problem, all i can hear in the game is gun shots. also my xbox is making a noise what sounds like the disk is spinning and then stopping and then spinning agian, but i cant remember if it did this before

any help please?

Also, i Just won a game and it didnt say the bit at the end or have the song and im always the last one in the game

Cheapest thing is to try one of those DVD/CD repair kits to see if you can mend your disc (that might fix your problems then)... or pray that HDD installs comes around soon and borrow a good disc off someone and hope yours is ok. Do your other games work ok?

Yes the game workd fine, i can still play it but it just have no game sound apart from the gun fire

Might be able to send it back and get a replacement disc. I had to do it for Fifa 04, when I knocked my PS2 over whislt playing. Think it cost about ?7:blink::

Not that this will be of much help, but it does make it clear in the manual never to move the console when a disc is in the drive.

See how it goes with reading other discs, if it's borked, then you'll have to send it in, but it may not be covered if they can tell you moved it.

Yep I did same thing when I got xbox 360 for first time and moved it while it was on with marvel ultimate alliance.

You can send the disk back to them to replace it (they'll charge you, of course, but it's alot cheaper than buying the game again, as you already own the license to play it).
