Wacom Tablet screwed my Razer mouse

Recommended Posts

I recently got a Wacom Intuos3 tablet and it all works fine, until i decided to use my mouse and noticed that it was very 'cluggy'

After further testing i found that when you move the mouse slowly downwards, it kinda gets stuck. It also happens when i move the mouse to the right slowly. When i move the mouse down and to the right diagonally, i can even make it go in the opposite direction!

Strange thing is when i move it up and to the left it works perfectly.

I have disabled the wacom mouse in device manager but its still doing it. The Razer mouse is brand new and was working fine before the install of the tablet. Any ideas on what could be causing this cause its pretty frustrating.

Cheers

I'm going to assume you've already tried updating all your drivers and the like?

Have you tried uninstalling both, then installing the Tablet and THEN the Mouse? My Razer had some strange issue where, in games, it would randomly spin me 720 degrees and have me point STRAIGHT up every few seconds. Happened after I installed, of all the crazy things, updated sound drivers. uninstalled both, installed the sound drivers first and updated mouse firmware second and walla :)

I guessed it was a problem with mouse acceleration. live without it.

You have a gaming mouse, and mouse acceleration doesn't help in gaming imo so it's best to live without it (Although then you're screwed when a game forces mouse accel on).]

But yeah, update your mouse's firmware, download and install the latest drivers from razer's website.
