Rogo
Hi... everytime i went to connect to my wireless home network it would say unsecured network so i thought id try and change all this. Having no clue what needed doing i googled it and ended up on this website... (My router IS a belkin model) http://www.belkin.com/support/Network_Supp...ss_security.asp I followed all the steps and ended up entering a WEP key for my modem. As soon as i done this i was disconnected and it will not let me reconnect to the internet. It says my computer is not configured in the same way as my modem. I've tried changing my computer to WEP as well but it keeps asking me for a KEY... is this the same WEP key as my modem? because i didn't write it down and i now have no idea how to get it.. Any help (as dumbed down as possible) would be great Cheers B) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/666290-broken-my-wireless-internet/ Share on other sites
___DaviD___
yea its the same WEP key as you put into your router. Only way todo it is to connect to your router hardwired change the WEP key again but write it down this time.
