You'd dislike her even more if you read the books, too :(.

Daphne is a shape-shifter like Sam, not just a deer or a "weredeer" :p. She can shift into any animal. They're far more rare than weres which can only shift into one animal. I was wrong about the werepanther/werewolf part clearly, but I'm still not convinced she has much to do with Maryanne!

I was a little confused with Stan. I know the woman is a servent-vamp of Stan, but was Stan supposed to be the King of Texas? He is in the book, but in the show he seemed to be another servant to the king. Maybe I just midheard and his name wasn't Stan. I'll just pay more attention when I watch the show 5 more times this week. :D

Godric is a young boy (about 15 when he was made) from Ancient Rome--that's where the tattoos are from, too. I'm surprised they stuck with the young boy thing. Also, in the books, Godric is not Eric's maker! It was a twist I could actually kind of see coming in the show, though. He's a monster, but actually pretty likable in the books. I wonder if they'll stick with that.

I don't think I'm spoiling anything, right?

No but it seems they are swerving away from the books in some major parts, I mean I read earlier in season 3 Bill will be around more though in Book 3 he isn't. Stan I think I heard mentioned and she said to him about Romania...not sure if that's because where vamps originate from.

Yeah Godric looked cool though :p

Was Stan only mentioned, or was he supposed to be the Texan vampire with the cowboy hat who was a bit of a jerk? That's the part that confused me. Maybe he wasn't Stan at all, and I just heard them mention Stan's name. I kind of hope it wasn't supposed to be Stan, haha. I'm also not sure about the Romanian part. I don't think she gets into where vamps originate from in the books, so I'm not sure where they're going with that. According to Anne Rice, they originated in Egypt, though! Har har. :D

They do stray from the book, but not majorly, really! The main story in the books is Sookie's, and so far, her story is nearly spot-on. Aside from Lafayette still being alive, and the relationships with Maryanne, they haven't changed a whole lot. I think the story is basically going to just go the same way as the books with a few side-stories that don't exist in the book--that's how it's been going so far. I can't see them changing anything too major with Sookie, though. Also, Bill is a huge part of book 3! He's not necessarily in it quite as much, but that's only because he's away from Sookie in the majority of the book, and it's told from her point of view. It's entirely based around him, though, and I can definitely see where they'd be able to actually have his character physically in the episodes more often since the show isn't from Sookie's POV.

I love that they change things around, to be honest with you. It keeps me guessing even though I've read the books.

Fun.

actually, I'm waiting for show about the fictional co-existence of elves and humans in a small Wisconsin town after Keebler made synthetic cookie-dough ? "TruEARs":laugh:h:

I saw a glimpse of this and my opinion is it won't do good.

Last September this was posted lol, now look at the show. Good predictio:):)

I've got that Merlotte's t-shirt! :D

And the Fangtasia one she wears in the second episode.

That party looks awesome. Are they having an entire exhibit at Comic Con? If so, it's the first time I've ever been jealous of people who get to go to that :( I'd be in true blood heaven there.

    • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
