TMPGEnc 2.5 Plus Problem...

Ok, I'm trying to backup a DVD that I have, everything goes smoothly untill the encoding part, I'm using TMPGEnc 2.5 Plus to do this... About 10 minutes into the encoding I get an error that says, "Read error occurred at address 00483529 of mudule 'TMPGEnc.exe' with 231A8C38." Is there something I can do? Or maybe use something else to encode?

Guys I really could use some help here!!!! I keep getting a "read error" I need to figure out if it's hardware or some software setting....

First, you should use something to convert the DVD files to an AVI, then convert that AVI. That's what you're doing already, right? Something like DVD2AVI(/SVCD/VCD)? Then convert that AVI to whatever DVD format using TMPGEnc

why would he want to convert that dvd twice? and using lossy codecs.. :x

if you just want to covert dvd9 to dvd5 there are many programs specially designed for that. read doom9

as for that specific error, sounds like a bad crack :rolleyes:
