so i'm looking at LCD tvs for the bedroom. it's an apartment so i don't want the whole home theatre set up there, i think the TV alone would suffice. i'm debating between 27" and 32" (need to measure my viewing distance and all) and my budget is <1,000 CDN. what would you recommend? i've been looking at:

Samsung LN32A550

Samsung LN32A650

Samsung LN27A450

Sony, Sharp and Panasonic

i'm not 'partial' to any particular brands but my personal experience has been good with samsung displays and i find the sony premium to be a little steep for the value.

thanks!

I have the LN52A650 and I love it... based on the reviews it has been said that the picture quality has exceeded Sonys bravia for this generation.. I am not sure of the differences between the 550 and 650 as far as specs or price... check out amazon for the lower prices than your average CC or BB stores...

both are tempting though from the looks of it sony is out of my price range...the 13% tax here in ontario is quite a deal-killer. thanks though.

i looked up some comparisons between samsung 550 and 650 and besides the wiselink think, there's little difference other than the dnie+ and dnie+ pro...any idea on what the difference here approximately is?

i can't find 550 at samsung.ca ...discontinued? 450 is still there..

    • Or use Epic games and get full games for free. lol Steam and their demos. Thankfully there’s competition
    • Maybe I missed it, but does this say anywhere that the game save bug has been squashed? I haven't encountered it myself, but it would be nice to know I'm good to go. Anyway, amazingly well done game. Mostly more of the same. ...but when the same is best in class with improved graphics and features, then a win.
    • Well when your game flops, you should expect this. If I do bad at work, I would expect a layoff. Less than 1600 people played it on steam. https://steamdb.info/app/1934570/charts/
