Muslim Massacre game pulled, along with a genuine apology?

Recommended Posts

Even though I don't agree with the game..LAME...I do agree with one poster who stated that

the Internet is where ideas and creativity should be encouraged even if it is for something stupid...

I have nothing against Muslims or would ever discriminate against anyone regardless of their religious

, ethnic, racial makeup but come on aren't we been a tad "sensitive" here. It seems "certain" people

spend all their time defending their religion. I am not religious but isn't religion given of God. In that

case shouldn't we let God defend himself. The astrocies and crimes committed in the name of

religion is going to damn more people to hell than anything else on the earth.

This was a sick game, no matter what. And people who liked the plot needs to see a psychiatrist.

Even though, I'm against internet censorship, people need to take responsibility for what they post online. And they should be held responsible.

Hate speech should not be protected as "free speech".

Good call in removing. As has been pointed out before on this item, a game called "Lynch the N(word)s" would be shut down as the poor taste racist hate turd that it would be.

If you find this offensive, then why in gods name would you play Grand Theft Auto? I'm a big fan of the series, and am in no way against this guys game or any game like it. But seriously, if you want to talk about how terrible something is, lets try grand theft auto, and if anyone gives me the response, its just a video game then I say apply that to Muslim Massacre as well. All you people that wanted this guys game pulled, are just as bad as the people who want to see grand theft auto banned.

You know what game is racist? Destroy All Humans. How the hell did that game even make it past the censors - fuggin racists.

"hate speech" is just something the government made up to curb free speech. There's no definitive definition of what constitutes hate speech, why do you think that is?

what's the point of this topic anyways? there's already a 10 page one on the exact same thing.

There is a big difference between GTA and a game called "kill the jews" or some such. Surely even you have to admit that.

Since when were portraying gang beat downs, mass murdering of cops, sex with hookers, drive by shootings, and helping to bring the most negative stereotypes to every minority mentioned in the game any worse than a simple browser based game where you kill Muslims? I'm sorry, I see little difference in how detestable they are. For the record, If I kill someone because I am jealous of them, that's no worse than killing someone because of their creed or race. To say the motivations for killing without a just cause make the crime worse or more ok are just plain stupid. I cannot see how this game can be any more offensive than per say call of duty 4? where was the last white Muslim that killed you while you are enacting a assassination of a world leader to save the world from terrorist?

Does anyone remember that suicide bomber flash game where you click to explode and have to take down as many people as you can?

Or maybe the game 'ethnic cleansing' where you kill african americans and jews?

What about the countless anti jew websites (and various anti-other-stuff websites) that exist out there?

What about f***god.com? Bomb making websites, illegal weapons trading websites? Copyright infrignement websites, certain websites that people would refer to as rotten? How about typing the word nazi into google??

All of these sites exist on a strictly 'if you don't like it don't look at it' basis... sure, you can be as offended as you like by them but if you reckon there is even a small possibility that they will dissapear if you wine enough about it... well good luck... the riaa wine about the internet and look at how much they have managed to curve piracy!

The only reason so many people have heard about this game is because of how much it has been blown out of proportion.

Sure, it's not being hosted by it's official website anymore but i bet it's on the'something'bay.org already and will be there for the rest of my life.

It's back up on it's official website... so let's all cry about a couple of thousand bits on one particular website instead of caring about the worlds real problems.

NEWS FLASH: Muslim is not a race, it's a religion.

That creator needs to learn a bit more before creating a game like this.

Sure, I laughed when I saw it, then I realized how profoundly ignorant he is.

And yes, the apology is not there anymore.

You know what game is racist? Destroy All Humans. How the hell did that game even make it past the censors - fuggin racists.

How is a game called "Destroy All Humans" racists? Unless, the 100% of the game's characters of one race.

Also, with the title of this thread, RACE has nothing to do with RELIGION. It's amazing how many people are ignorant to the definition of RACIST.

Meh... I referred to him as rascist. Also as a turd. It doesn't mean I think he is really solid waste excrement.

I didn't want to say "Religionist", and now everyone is joining the Pedantic Wagon. Wooo-woooo! All aboard!

and now everyone is joining the Pedantic Wagon. Wooo-woooo! All aboard!

Hahaha, i actually lol'd

Muslim is not a religion; Islam is. A Muslim a person that follows teachings in Islam.

Nice come back there mate! You are right. :D

How is it pedantic to point out there is a difference between something you're born with and a set of beliefs that you choose?

    • NVIDIA officially supports Ubuntu, as linked above with the GeForce NOW Hands on I did in collaboration with Paul Hill.
    • TO be clear I am not running linux today, however I keep thinking about it. And I want to make sure there are minimal obstacles if I decide to make that switch in the coming months.
    • Yes, I actually glossed over the Linux part from the OP. You could always go for a 9070 XT and if you really want to play Ray Traced games in the future, GeForce Now is pretty damn good on Linux https://www.neowin.net/news/nvidias-native-geforce-now-app-for-linux-bridges-the-gaming-gap-hands-on/
